Summary

This is a story of Julia’s mundane life. A small girl living in a big city far from home, looking for the meaning of independence and freedom. She has a stable job, a nice home, a good friend as her housemate and she blends in well with the city folks’ lifestyle. Normal. Or is it? Sounds too good to be true because Julia has a peculiar way of living her life to the fullest. Until one fine day, a vibrant advert captures her attention and piqued her interest to participate in the art contest it holds. Winner gets to travel, all expenses paid! While on the opposite spectrum of the world, her uniqueness captures the attention of a guy who happens to cross path with her. Let’s sit back on the bleachers with a bowl of popcorn and watch how Julia strives to get what she wants when her mind is set and locked on the winning prize.

Prologue

Dear Diary,

Do you recall about the contest I entered a couple of months ago? The one that looks a little too good to be true. Well, they’re announcing the winner tomorrow. I’m both anxious and excited at the same time. Do you think I have a chance to win? I think I did good.

Did I tell you the winner gets a seven-days trip to Thailand, all expenses paid! Holy macaroni, I really want that trip. I’ve never been to Asia before. This would be an amazing opportunity, don’t you think?

Well, fingers crossed!

I’ll keep you updated.

p/s: Diary, I think we’ve passed the acquaintanceship phase, I’m not calling you Diary anymore. Can I call you Suzy?

Let Syuha Rosly know what you thought about this chapter!

Silver's Second Chance

Ku_Rolet: I love the story and the love between the couple. It doesn’t drag unnecessarily, which I really enjoyed. However, I felt that the ending was a bit rushed because Silver being a druid was revealed so suddenly, without much explanation. That part of the story still feels like a mystery, especially how...

Rodela: I have been reading in Inkitt for quite some years now, but this is the 2nd time I am reading a story as well knitted as this one.
