Summary

Derek is the son of very bad man. His arrogance cost him his life. Now Derek is hell bent on getting revenge. Angel thought she was seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. She’d found a way to take them away from it all, but Derek and his stupid hunger for revenge ripped up her plans and threw them in her face. Would they make it out of this mess alive, or would both of them end up dead like Derek’s father? What could they possibly have to give that hasn’t already been taken?? This is a Flasher, but I’m thinking about turning it into a short story or a novella.

Chapter 1

Angel looked out the window as the sun came up; the events of the previous evening fresh on her mind.

“Why the hell am I in this bed alone?” Derek snarled from across the room.

“Because I had enough of your ass last night. Why did you do it, Derek? Don’t you realize what you’ve started? There’s no way we’re going to get out of this now.”

“Why don’t you let me worry about that. You’re always trying to fix shit that has nothing to do with you. I said I would get them the money, and I will get it. Besides, there is no ‘we’ in this scenario.”

“Derek, you know what these people are like. They don’t play around. You DO remember what happened to your father, don’t you?”

“Don’t talk to me about my father! You don’t know shit about him. These people think they can just come and take what they want. They don’t know who the fuck they’re messing with. You’ll see, baby. Now get over here and give me my breakfast.”

Reluctantly, Angel walked over to the bed and straddled Derek’s face. Slowly he began lapping up her juices, erasing away the memories.
