Prolouge - Awaken
Loud waves crashed and bubbled against pieces of wood and rocks. These noises succeeded in rousing Portia from a deep sleep. She felt her eyelids strain as she struggled to open them. Her whole body felt as heavy as lead. To her surprise, she realized she was immobile. Pieces of thoughts began to float to the surface of her mind.
Am I… alive? Am I… dead?
What answered her was a loud crash then rhythmic rush of water tickling her eardrums. She again tried to open her eyelids but to no avail. Portia’s brows furrowed.
Am I drowning? Was I at sea?
Sounds of splashing waves mercilessly continued—it was like hearing the swirl of wine, liquid sloshing against the confines of a glass cup.
Portia commanded her legs to move, squirm, really do anything, but her limbs did not respond. Yet, as she heard the next wave crash, she felt a cascading chill wash across her abdomen.
Portia gasped, her cold breath caressing her tongue as she sharply inhaled then hotly exhaled. The chilly wash sent shivers down her spine as she felt a tide begin to form. She found herself somehow relaxing as she took in the sensation of water lightly stroking her waist and thighs. Her breathing became noisy as the roar of the waves quieted into calm dance. Once more she felt water travel up her tummy… and then retreat down to her pelvis… and the back up to her belly.
Maybe I washed ashore somewhere?
As the next wave travelled up her body, Portia’s mind went blank as she felt the tide form into the shape of hands. Slender, long fingers suddenly encircled her rib cage, methodically exploring each ridge of her sides then traveling down to her hips.
Her eyelids fluttered as she again tried to move, this time in enjoyment as this watery massager continued to work its way up her body and down to the triangle of her pelvis. Each time lingering a little bit longer at her lap until it began to pool. Portia’s heart picked up pace as she realized there was no barrier between her skin and the water. Goosebumps painfully made themselves aware as the motion started to gently skim her folds.
She gasped again, this time in lust.
What is happening to me? Is this real?
She couldn’t comprehend nor move her body away from the sensation as she lay helpless to the sea’s shiatsu. At this point, everything was silent except the sound of her heart and shaky breathing. As this tantalizing tide worked over her, the temperature of the water became warmer. She desperately tried to writhe as she met this strange warmth with a fire of her own. The only movement she could muster was the involuntary clench of her own heat.
And as if her mystic massager could read her body’s desires, the ocean hungrily began to lap at her thighs. Teasingly edging its way towards her own wetness that had formed. With her heart in her mouth now, she desperately willed her eyes opened. Portia’s body begged her to open her legs and invite the water in to ravage, but her mind remained perplexed. She needed to see what was going on.
With a deep inhale, Portia shouted in her mind, “Open!”
On her exhale her eyes opened. When she finally adjusted her sight to the searing daylight, her blood ran ice cold. In front of her towered multiple sets of blue, slick tentacles quivering in front of her. She felt a scream rise deep from her diaphragm as her mind tried to piece together fragments of reason.
“Ahh!” Portia shrieked
The sea creature flinched in response and in the blink of an eye engulfed Portia into a tight hug. Once again her vision became dark as the tentacles trapped her in a cocoon of darkness.
Portia’s breaths become fast and shallow as she felt herself slowly losing consciousness. She tried with all her might to slow down her breathing but it was no use. The last thing she felt before slipping into the void was the touch of water being replaced by scratchy grains of sand.
