"The book was well written! It has really strong characters. The author was able to bring out all the emotions felt by the characters in a way that helped you feel it as well. While I don't fully understand cutting yourself to feel better; I do understand the feeling of loss and not being enough for those you love. Autumn and Cory's relationship was very relatable! I really enjoyed the story especially the end!"

"I loved it! I just read the book and I can only say how much it made me cry. ‘The mechanic’s daughter’ isn’t that traditional story about that crazy love that does crazy things, full of jealousy, and adventures. No! this story is about real life! It’s about being disappointed with the person you love, about family, death and with everything going on, you still have to continue to live. Just as Cory was an idiot, so was Autumn! The two got hurt but this is real life, this is real love between real couples, and that’s what makes the story even better. I cried and made me think about what life is like, one minute you are planning to have lunch with that person and in the next hour they may be dead. Now about things that got me confused... you need to decide on the surname of the characters ... sometimes you put Cory last name being Oliver and sometimes being Forest, as well as in various situations with Autumn. And about the family's financial situation, it made me confuse. How could Autumn's mother be struggling with money when she got a share of Uncle Jamie's money? As well as Kendra working to buy a car if she kept the collections that the family had. But I loved the plot and your writing! Looking forward to start reading one more of your books! Congratulations for the story !!!"
