THE BLACK ROSE.

Kai Thompson is a unique student from us all, He is brilliant and nice , although he never speaks to anyone else than the English teacher, Clio Cembu is a girl of eighteen years old, she was doing her final grade. she was the type who reads her classmate's attitudes,and learn their personalities but then she found that she was fascinated of this one classmate ,Kai ,if olny she could get to know him better.

Well she used to think like that till this day when they all went on her English teacher's baby party, herself and her classmates , and everyone went on another room to dance and she was left in the deserted room, as she stood there by the handsome table she leaned her hand on it and then she was gazing at a picture on a wall , her English teacher and Kai standing together, it was the first time she ever saw Kai smiling like that . There she wonder ,why is he so close to her English teacher ,then suddenly she felt a cold hand that bumped on hers ,she turned her head to look up behind her .There she met blueish -green eyes, Kai Thompson stood now in front of Clio as she turned and looked straight." Pardon me"he said.

"No it's alright."

"You don't dance ?"he inquired.

"Um....I wanted to be alone ..a bit"

"Ohh!then I-uh-I should leave , I didn't mean to intrude, though, I thought this room to be unoccupid–"

"–No! I mean , it's okay you do not have to leave I mean perhaps I should leav–"

"–It's okay. But do you not hate this noise, permit me to take you elsewhere ?"

"Um....sure."she said.

They left and went to another large room full of old fashioned things and musical instruments.Kai was closer to the English teacher and he often come to visit her here some times , so it make sense why he is aware of the house. She think of him as a ralative to the English teacher .

"Miss Celina knows I love music and art so she often like to listen to me when I play the Piano , guitar and also other musical instruments."he said.

"Would you play ,guitar for me ."she said

"Of course " he smiled ,as she went and stood by the window.

The sound was lovely , calm , pleasant It sensed emotional but very pleasant.

As he played his fingers ran through those strings, he was humming and it sounds lovely .

The room was dull , very attractive on the eye , and there was a tall window which the sunlight reflected on the side where Clio stood , And Kai sat on the opposite dull side .

"You play so well"she said .

"Thank you."he got up and opened the drawer of a tall stood fanishture , he took up out a black rose and walked near her , then stood towards her he raised his hand and pressed the black rose to put it over her ear .He pushed back her afro hair lock away before pressing the rose , then their eyes met , he stood so close now "your eyes have a beautiful color, brown, and now how most beautiful with the rose on your ear ,the color of your eyes match nicely with the rose, and you're captivating to the people ,like me who are old fashioned and adores art ."

He said gazing deeply on her eyes and afterwards there was silence , they only looked on each other's eyes and no one knew what's to happen next ........

Eventually he suddenly spoke "Can I ask you something?".

"Of course."

"Do you believe in ambitions?"

"Absolutely, I think ambitions are assential for personal growth and success.Do you?"

"Yes .I wanted to become an inverter and I just inverted some machine that transmit other person's feelings and emotions to another person, but my dad thinks it's uncanny.and he hates it–"

"–A machine that transmit feelings and emotions?"she repeated.

"Yes "

"That's incredible Kai , how on earth–"

"–would you like to see it?"

"Yes, exceedingly."she said and smiled . They went out by the back door and left.

They arrived on Kai's home , they met his father sitting on a chair , as he was drinking beer and smoking, the house was stuffy and untidy it , the smell of the beer set the house to stink.Clio could sense embarrassment and rising anger on Kai .

He looked up at Kai and Clio,he sneered saying "Kai , take out these bottles throw 'em away, ask your friend to assist you....Now!"

Kai took Clio's hand and walked away .

"Boy! Come baCk HerE , you're no difference to that tiresome mother of yours!." They left him swearing and cursing....

She was in Kai's room now and he showed her the machine "This is it".The machine, it looked a bit complicated he asked her to sit down, she did so. He activeted the machine and she lean back he took out some things that looked more like electroencephalography in sight, he placed them on her forehead and some on her chest , and took other ones placed them on himself.Then the machine lit up and eventually she felt something rising in her , she felt like she was feeling some agony and love at the same time . and from that moment a tear drop on her cheek , and he immediately took it out . She sat up straight wiped her cheek "What was that ?–it felt like.... Sadness and love.."

" I guess it's how i feel inside, isn't this machine amazing, though?"

"But how?how did you do this machine ?this is incredible Kai, I'm amazed!....how is this possible –"

"It's amazing isn't it? –"

"–You feel sad , why?"

"Well .. I'm not happy, Clio , It all started when my parents separated from each other, did you see my dad , he was never like that before my mom left ....I still don't know why she did it , I can't even forgive her–"

"–that's not right, you know forgiving can set you free fom this agony."

"I don't know "he said looking down.

"This machine,It can be of help to those that are inarticulate, and this way it can even allow those that are unsympathetic to sympathise to those who are vulnerable."

"Precisely "he smiled warmly.

She took out the rose and held it by her hand and looked at it"But Love? What of love ?–"

"That is how I feel about you".he said looking down.

She smiled and said"Well , do you want to feel how I feel about you?...." She smiled again and glanced at the machine she held his hand and kissed it .And so he looked up and smiled too he said "Yes , I do"

He took the black rose and put it over her ear again....
