Chapter 1
It was a lovely day in Fairwood Kingdom and Timber was trying to spend some time with PineCone.
"It's awfully quiet, Timber... Isn't that suspicious?" PineCone asked.
"No? What do you mean?" Timber asked.
"Your sister. She's obviously plotting something..." PineCone said.
"No? How could she be? She's not even here..." Timber said.
Before PineCone can say anything, the door to the house burst open. Standing in the doorway was a fluffy black wolf with red eyes. She was rather skinny.
"Ohhhhhh Timberrrrrrr!" the black wolf called out.
That wolf is Lillian.
"Oh shoot... It's Lillian..." Timber said.
"See?" PineCone said.
"What do you want, sister?" Timber asked.
"Food..." Lillian replied, licking her lips.
"Oh... Umm... We don't have any food..." PineCone said.
"PineCone!" Timber hissed.
"Well... If you don't have any food for me..." Lillian said, turning and pretending she was going to leave.
"Goodbye, Lillian," Timber said.
Lillian whipped around and pounced on Timber and PineCone, growling and snarling.
"I WILL JUST HAVE TO MAKE DUE WITH WHAT I HAVE!" Lillian growled.
"Oh shoot! She's insane!" PineCone said.
He smacked Lillian away and escaped out the window with Timber. Timber and PineCone both turned into wolves and ran as fast as they could away from there to Fairwood Castle.
"Aleena! Aleena! Help!" PineCone cried out, scratching at the door.
Timber kept an eye out for Lillian as they waited for Princess Aleena to open the door.
"Who's there?" Princess Aleena asked.
"It's us, PineCone and Timber!" PineCone wailed.
Princess Aleena opened the door and the gold wolf and silver wolf both got in as quickly as they could. Princess Aleena closed and locked the door.
"What's the matter?" Princess Aleena asked.
"It's Lillian! She's trying to eat us!" Timber said.
"Eat you? I didn't know she was a cannibal..." Princess Aleena said.
"She's coming to get us..." PineCone whimpered.
"You'll be safe in here," Princess Aleena said, "Would you like some tea?"
"Oh, that would be nice..." Timber said.
"I'll take the tea with extra sugar," PineCone said.
Princess Aleena took her friends to the large castle kitchen and begun making them some tea.
"So... Where are your guards and knights?" Timber asked.
"It's their day off," Princess Aleena said with a giggle.
"Oh shoot... Let's hope the door can't be destroyed by a single crazed wolf..." Timber said.
A few minutes later, PineCone and Timber heard hoof-steps in the next room. PineCone looked up from his extra sweetened tea and glanced at Timber anxiously. The hoof-steps continued and a soft snorting noise occurred.
"Say, Princess Aleena... What is all that noise?" PineCone asked.
Princess Aleena grinned.
"Oh, the noises in the empty room? Go see for yourself," the cheerful princess said, giggling.
PineCone and Timber walked down the hall and peered into the room. Annabelle, PineCone's pony, was standing there eating hay.
"My pony!" PineCone said cheerfully.
He ran to greet his gorgeous pony. Timber stared in confusion.
"Wait... Why is Annabelle inside...?" Timber asked.
"She's hiding from Lillian, too," Princess Aleena said.
"So it's okay for a pony to be inside the castle?" Timber asked.
PineCone pets Annabelle and she nuzzles him gently.
There was a bang, and a thunk, and a creak, and suddenly, the door to the castle had fallen!
"Hello!" Lillian called into the empty hallway, "Oh goodie... No guards today!"
She strolled on in, head held high.
"Come here, foodie, foodie, foodie!" Lillian taunted, poking her head into every room.
"Stop right there! You were not given permission to roam around my castle!" Princess Aleena said.
Lillian halted with one paw still raised.
"You look like a good snack!" Lillian decided to say after awhile of silence.
"No! You cannot eat me! I am the princess of Fairwood!" Princess Aleena said.
"Then what else can I eat?" Lillian asked.
Princess Aleena thought for awhile before pulling out a chocolate bar with caramel, nougat, and peanuts.
"Here, you may have this chocolate bar," Princess Aleena said.
"Oh boy! You're really going to give me your chocolate bar?! What's the catch?!" Lillian asked.
"There is no catch, this chocolate is for you!" Princess Aleena said.
She put the chocolate bar on the floor in front of Lillian. Lillian didn't stop to take the wrapper off the chocolate bar, she just ate the whole thing in a few quick bites.
"Mmmm... Yummy!" Lillian said.
"Wait... I thought chocolate wasn't good for wolves..." Timber said.
"WHAT?! YOU MEAN TO TELL ME YOU INTENDED ON POISONING ME?!" Lillian asked, still licking her lips.
"No, no... Not at all! I figured that since you are half-human that you should be able to tolerate some chocolate," Princess Aleena said.
"It was delicious..." Lillian said, "Do you have any more?"
Princess Aleena giggled and went to the kitchen to get more chocolate bars. Lillian waited patiently and soon, the princess was back with a whole bag of chocolates. Lillian jumped at Princess Aleena and knocked the bag of chocolates out of her hands.
"YUMMY!" Lillian cried out.
She then proceeded to eating all the chocolates in the bag, wrapper and all. Princess Aleena watches in wonder, a delicate gloved hand to her mouth. Timber and PineCone also watched. Lillian ate all the chocolates and then sat there staring at Princess Aleena as if expecting her to have even more chocolates.
"What?" Princess Aleena asked.
"More, please. This chocolate stuff is pleasing," Lillian said.
"Oh... I don't have any more..." Princess Aleena said.
"YOU DON'T?! BUT YOU ARE ROYALTY! SHOULDN'T YOU HAVE EVERYTHING?!" Lillian asked.
"Look here, Lillian, I may be younger than you, but that doesn't mean I'll let you yell at me. If you want more chocolate, there is a market down the road from here that has chocolates," Princess Aleena said.
"I need more! I need more now! I don't feel like walking to the market!" Lillian whined.
"You already had 12 candy bars! That's more than most people eat!" Princess Aleena said.
"I'll eat you if you don't give me more chocolate!" Lillian said, "I love chocolate!"
So, Princess Aleena reluctantly returned to her fridge to look for more chocolates. Luckily for her, she had a few regular chocolates left. She gave them to Lillian and watched as she gobbled those down as well. The scrawny wolf from earlier was already looking fatter after eating so many chocolates so quickly.
There was only a matter of time before Princess Aleena would run out of kinds of chocolates to feed Lillian. Because of that, she begun hoping Lillian would be full soon so she can restock. Lillian wasn't going to be full soon, though, as Princess Aleena found out. Lillian just got fatter and fatter and would not stop eating.
"Timber, PineCone, go to the market and tell them the princess needs more chocolate!" Princess Aleena cried out upon finding herself extremely low on chocolates.
Timber and PineCone went to go to the market as Princess Aleena attempted to distract Lillian between chocolates to slow her down. The minutes ticked by as Princess Aleena was forced to give up her very last chocolate bar. By the time Timber and PineCone returned with as much chocolate as they could carry, they found Lillian passed out in the kitchen, her fat belly bulging out. Princess Aleena was found crouching nearby, unharmed, trying to soothe the insane beast.
"Rest, Lillian... Rest... Rest is what you need right now..." Princess Aleena murmured to the wolf.
Lillian was softly breathing, her mind in a deep dark void. Her stomach gurgled loudly, trying to digest the chocolate and candy wrappers.
"How did you get her to sleep?" Timber asked.
"She just passed out. I did nothing..." Princess Aleena whispered.
"She's better that way... Harmless..." PineCone said.
"It might take her awhile to fully recover..." Princess Aleena whispered.
"How much chocolate did she eat?" Timber asked.
"I lost track... Probably close to 100..." Princess Aleena replied.
"Oh wow..." Timber said.
They let Lillian rest to recover.
The End
