Introduction
Welcome, readers, to our groundbreaking series, “The Mongol Saga of North America.” I’m your host, Dr. Altan Baatar, professor of Mongol-American History at the University of Karakorum in Tengeriin Khotkhon. Over the next several chapters, we’ll explore the fascinating history of our continent, from the first landing of Genghis Khan’s fleet on the western shores to the present day.
Our tale is centered around the lineage of the Altan Bürkitchi - the Golden Eagle Hunters - a line of fierce all-female warrior mystics who have served as advisors, generals, and rulers throughout the eight centuries of Mongol rule in North America. Through their eyes, we’ll witness the transformation of a continent and the birth of a unique civilization.
Our sources include imperial records, archaeological findings, and most importantly, the personal diaries and letters of the Altan Bürkitchi women themselves. So, without further ado, let us begin our journey through history.
