Summary

Love! A word that has everyone dancing. What is love, really? Is it enough to sustain a relationship, or is it just the beginning? What happens when the person you love turns out to be your worst nightmare? For Roslyn, the promise of love and safety turned into a living hell. Michael, her husband, vowed to protect and cherish her, but his words were nothing more than a facade. The trust is broken, the respect is gone, and the communication is reduced to screams and silence. The marriage that is supposed to be her safe haven became a prison. The man who promised to keep her safe turned out to be the one who put her in harm's way. Roslyn's world is shattered, and she is left to pick up the pieces. But what happens when love is not enough to stay? What happens when the respect is gone, and the empathy is lost? Can Roslyn escape the hell she's living in? Can she find the strength to leave the man who was supposed to be her forever? Let's dive into Roslyn's story and find out if she'll be able to break free from the chains that bind her.

Chapter Description

Michael Wilson

Michael's eyes seemed to hold a thousand secrets, his gaze piercing and intense. His tailored suits and charismatic smile hid the scars of his childhood, where he witnessed his father's brutal abuse. The sound of his mother's screams still echoed in his mind.

Roslyn Smith (Wilson) who will later be known as Avery

Roslyn's warm smile and gentle laughter could light up a room. She grew up in a loving household, where her parents' relationship was a testament to the power of love and respect. Her eyes sparkled with kindness, and her presence was a balm to those around her.

Rachel Heart

Rachel's sharp wit and skeptical nature made her a loyal and protective friend. Her upbringing taught her to question everything, to think critically and not follow blindly. Her eyes narrowed when she sensed deceit, and her words could cut down anyone who dared to hurt those she cared about.

Mike Williams

Mike's firm handshake and easy smile commanded respect. As Michael's business partner and friend, he knew how to navigate the cutthroat world of corporate finance. His values were clear: honesty, integrity, and loyalty.

Angel Wilson

Angel's bright eyes and curious nature reminded Roslyn of herself at that age. Despite being unwanted by her father, Angel's presence was a beacon of hope and joy in Roslyn's life.

David Haris

David's gentle hands and soothing voice calmed his twin children, Rayan and Ross. He had lost his wife during childbirth, but his love for his children kept him going. His eyes held a deep sadness, but his smile hinted at a resilience that would help him find love again.
