Chapter 1
“ALL HANDS, TO THE DOCKING AREA!” The worn out vox on the Emperor’s Children chaos ship “The Equinox” blared throughout the whole ship as alarm sirens and bright red lights went off.
Sgt. Arios of the former Emperor’s Children Legion made his way along with many of his fellow chaos brethren, he caught up to Captain Orian who was directing traffic.
“Orian!” Sgt Arios barked.
The Captain knew that voice from anywhere, he turned and saw Sgt. Arios, two blades in hand.
“What in the galaxy is going on?!” the bewildered Sgt asked.
“Did you not hear? An Imperium warship has entered our space and is firing on us!” the Captain said.
No sooner had the Captain said that, an explosion rocked the ship.
“I know that! The boarding action, how many are there?” The Sgt asked, licking his lips, savoring the pleasure he knew he would get from slicing up an Imperial foe.
“One pod” The Captain answered.
“One pod?!” Sgt said, quite surprised.
“Yes, apparently they saw it fit to only send one boarding pod, that does not matter anyways, my blade aches to taste blood once more” The Captain said, turned and made his way down to the docking area.
“If one ship is all they send, then so be it, we will return the favor soon enough!” The Captain continued.
“Yes” The Sgt said, salivating at the idea of slaughter and the sweet noises of battle, he might even get injured and the idea excited him more.

The Captain and the Sgt made their way to the docking port, they looked all around and in their midst were Chaos marines from the Emperor’s Children all around, cultists of all shades ready to fight, 4 corrupted Dreadnoughts armed to the teeth, the apothecaries were making their way through each marine, loading them up with combat stimulants and other drugs.
When the Apothecary Harrion made his way up to the Captain and the Sgt he offered them a vial filled with a glowing and sparkling purple liquid.
The Captain took the vial and looked it over, then passed it to the Sgt, who took it eagerly.
“Thank you, sir” The Sgt said, not wasting time and inserting it into an interface port on his gauntlet as soon as he got it.
The Captain had no need for such concoctions, the thrill of combat was a more potent drug than anything the apothecaries of the Emperor’s Children could come up with.
As soon as the drugs hit the Sgt’s system he hummed, almost like a purr and let out a sigh of satisfaction.
Drawing his blade and bolter, he waited until the inevitable thud of the boarding pod hit the side of the ship.
Then the pod’s breaching protocol was activated and the wiring blades sliced a large circular hole into the wall.
The men of the Equinox were getting restless, more and more eager for battle.
The breaking protocol sliced through the lowered docking doors and soon a huge slab of iron fell to the ground, clattering as it went silent.
For a split second a silence could be heard, the anticipation of battle right there. However soon a few souls stepped forward, to see if there was anything inside.
Finally one marine spoke out loud “There’s nothing inside!”
