Summary

Poems written in my youth, there is no order to this book as in chapters. It's a small look into a my mind as a teenager. I was full of pain and had been raised with manipulation, going back on your word, narcissism and physical and verbal abuse. I was a victim, but a victim is only a victim if they live, think, and hold onto their past. like a victim. I'm not saying forget, never. Grow, see what character you hate and reflect on yourself. The only power someone has over you is what you give them. So give it wisely and with great caution. There's so many people with selfish intentions. In fact, I believe every living human is full of selfish intentions. It's just how much you give in to them, that defines who you really are. Never be afraid to love people, compassion, care and empathy are powerful.

Unstable Love

Your smile has the power to turn my world around, keep the demons from escaping, from escaping, oh how that sounds.

For some reason, the only reason they haven't busted my walls down, it escapes me now. I am set free, no longer tied or bound.

Funnel the color filled memories with my few friends, family, and the world. Paint a picture in my head of your beauty, fill this chasm, this polaroid. You don't seem to get it, I'm not even sure how to best explain. You're the antidote to my pain.

You're my world, I am your moon. Why are my fellings so void? When the sun shines you only see my back, my dark side. I see both your fades, you know I don't hide. Seeping regret shines black light, I'm hemorrhaging pride.
