Summary

Derrière la parfaite façade de l'amour peut se cacher un enchevêtrement de violence et de mensonges. Par une envie de possession et de supériorité malsaine se cache une victime, mais aussi l'espoir. L'espoir de pouvoir partir, de pouvoir redevenir heureuse, l'espoir de protéger son enfant de cette violence. Elle pensait avoir fait le bon choix, mais chaque jour, les traces sur son corps lui prouvent que non. Chaque jour, l'inquiétude dans le regard de son fils lui prouve que non. Chaque jour, elle souhaite fuir loin. Vivre ce futur dont elle rêvait plus jeune : partenaire aimant et doux, une réussite professionnelle, et un foyer où l'amour règne. Chaque jour pourtant, elle en vient à se dire que jamais elle ne l'aura, cette vie dont elle souhaite. Jusqu'au jour où un prince charmant lui ouvre la possibilité d'une vie meilleure, pour elle et son petit garçon. Les traumatismes seront toujours là, mais une vie heureuse est possible pour eux deux.
