Kim Taehyung
Age - 28
A man with a muscular body, extraordinarily handsome, rich, and powerful, capable of turning the world upside down in an instant. His influence spanned across all of Asia. People yearned for even a glimpse of him, but Taehyung preferred to stay as far away from the media as possible since he disliked excessive fame.
Jungkook, Jiwoo, Mingyu, and Eunwoo all lived together. Although all four of them were orphans, they never felt like it. They shared a deep, unbreakable bond and lived like a family. If one of them faced trouble, the other three would stand as a shield to protect them.
Jiwoo was sitting at home when a boy rushed in and hugged her tightly, exclaiming, “Jiwoo! Do you know that Leehan has started bothering me again? Aren’t woonie and Gyu back yet? I’ll tell them to beat the pulp out of him!”
Before Jiwoo could respond, a voice came from behind, “We’re right here, Jungkookie.”
Jungkook pouted and said, “So, you’ve finally arrived, gentlemen. We were waiting just for you.”
Seeing Jungkook’s sulking and hearing his words, everyone burst into laughter. Jungkook was the apple of everyone’s eye. He was the heart and soul of the group, the reason behind their smiles.
Eunwoo winked and said, “Oh, so someone missed us, didn’t they?”
Hearing this, Jungkook laughed and replied, “Hehe....No one here has the time to miss you, so stop overestimating your importance!”
His words made Mingyu and Eunwoo pout, while Jiwoo tried hard to stifle her laughter.
Eunwoo pouted and said, “It seems we hold no value here.”
Jungkook jumped onto Eunwoo’s back and, laughing, said, “I told you already to stop overestimating your worth. And this overacting of yours? Save it for your future partner; it’s not going to work on me!”
Hearing this, Eunwoo thought to himself, “I’m already doing all this overacting for my wife,“* and smiled.
Jungkook rolled his eyes and said, “Come on, let’s go somewhere for a stroll.”
Jiwoo interjected, “Yes, yes! Hurry up. I want to eat Tteokbokki and fried chicken too. It’s been ages since I last had them.”
Hearing this, everyone smiled and nodded before heading to their respective rooms to get ready.
Meanwhile, on the other side, a man sat on a grand king’s chair, exuding the aura of royalty. His sharp almond eyes, piercing and intimidating. Before him stood several men, sweating profusely. It felt as if they had entered hell itself. For them, even breathing had become a challenge. The aura of the man seated before them instilled fear and dread in their hearts.
At that moment, his assistant, san approached him, bowing his head, and said, “Boss, we tried everything, but they are still refusing to give us their house. We even offered them ten times the money, but they said it’s their home, and they won’t give it up at any cost.”
Before san could continue, Taehyung ground his teeth in anger and said, “Who dared? Who has the audacity to refuse Kim Taehyung?”
San, stammering slightly, replied, “I-It’s a boy.”
Just then, the sound of a flowerpot breaking echoed through the room, causing everyone’s hearts to race at 180 beats per minute. The men standing there began trembling like leaves, as though they had been struck by an electric shock.
Taehyung shouted in rage, “A Boy? You all got scared of a mare boy? Did I feed you just to build those bodies? If he isn’t giving up his house, then take it by force or kill him. But my mall will open there. I want that house at any cost!”
San, trying to explain, said, “Boss, we even offered him a lot of money, but he is unwilling to agree.”
Taehyung clenched his fists in anger. His patience was wearing thin. In his stern voice, he asked, “What is the name of this boy?”
Bowing his head, san replied, “Jungkook. His name is Jungkook. He’s a very self-respecting boy.” Saying this, san fell silent.
The moment Taehyung heard the name “Jungkook” his heart began to race. An unfamiliar restlessness took over him. It felt as though he somehow knew him from before.
In his mind, Taehyung thought, “Jungkook... Why do I feel this way just hearing hid name? Someone I’ve never even seen before... Why is my heartbeat suddenly so fast?”
Looking at San, Taehyung spoke in his sharp Deep tone, “I want every detail about this Jungkook everything about him from his childhood to now. Not a single piece of information should be missed. I want it within an hour.”
San was momentarily shocked to hear Taehyung’s demand for Jungkook’s details. He wondered if Taehyung intended to harm him. However, San didn’t dare to question him. Instead, he nodded in agreement and left.
Taehyung, lost in his thoughts, kept thinking about Jungkook. It felt as though just hearing his name had completely taken over his heart and mind.
An hour passed by as Taehyung remained deep in thought, unaware of the time. A knock on the door brought him back to his senses.
“Come in,” he said. San entered, bowing his head, and said, “Boss, here are all the details about Jungkook.” He handed Taehyung a file.
Taehyung took the file from San’s hands and gestured for him to leave. Understanding the signal, San quickly exited the room.
Taehyung stared at the file as if it contained the most precious jewels in the world. His patience was running out. He opened the file immediately and found numerous pictures of Jungkook inside.
In one photo, Jungkook was lying on a bike, holding a gun in one hand. In another, he sat cross-legged, pouting adorably. He looked like an incredibly cute bunny in that picture. There were several other photos like this.
Taehyung’s gaze lingered on Jungkook’s baby pink lips, and unknowingly, a smile appeared on his face.
As Taehyung continued going through the file, his expression darkened, and his eyes turned dark. Suddenly, his grip on the file tightened.
Taehyung in anger, threw the file forcefully onto the floor and shouted, “What nonsense is this? Does Jungkook live with some guy?”
The very thought made his fists clench in rage. He glanced at the file lying on the floor, picked it back up, and continued reading about Eunwoo, Mingyu, and Jiwoo. He was still reading when suddenly, some photos slipped out of the file and fell to the ground.
Taehyung stared intently at the photos scattered on the floor. Bending down, he picked them up one by one and began examining them. Just looking at those photos made his eyes burn with fury, turning bloodshot. One of the photos showed Eunwoo holding Jungkook by his waist while Jungkook kissed his cheek.
Taehyung picked up the second photo, which was a group picture of the four of them. Then, he looked at the third photo, and the moment he saw it, he furiously threw the file back onto the floor. In the picture, Jungkook stood in the middle, with Eunwoo and Mingyu on either side of him, both kissing his cheeks.
For reasons Taehyung couldn’t explain, seeing this filled him with jealousy.
Grumbling in anger, Taehyung muttered to himself, “Why can’t I tolerate Jungkook with someone else? I’ve never even seen him, so why does it matter to me so much? How can just hearing someone’s name affect me like this?”
Consumed by his rage, Taehyung kicked the glass table nearby, shattering it into a thousand pieces. Overwhelmed, he stormed into his bathroom and turned on the shower.
The cold water from the shower cascaded over his body. The droplets gleamed like pearls on his honey tan skin, making him look incredibly attractive. After almost half an hour, Taehyung turned off the shower, put on a bathrobe, and came out.
He went straight to his king-sized bed and lay down, but sleep was far from his eyes. Tossing and turning for hours, he finally fell into the embrace of sleep around two in the morning.
The next morning, sunlight streaming through the window fell on Taehyung’s face, making it glow like gold. He looked peaceful like a baby. Taehyung woke up, freshened up, and headed to the gym in his house.
After an hour of working out, he returned to take a shower. A little while later, he emerged from the bathroom wearing a white bathrobe. He went straight to his closet, changed, and went downstairs. As he descended the stairs, his presence radiated authority. Today, he wore a black tuxedo, which made him look incredibly handsome and elegant.
As Taehyung walked towards the dining table, his eyes fell on a young man sitting there.
The young man was cheerful and full of life, a stark contrast to Taehyung. He was a year younger than Taehyung, with a physique similar to his, but their personalities couldn’t have been more different. Where Taehyung was intense and short-tempered, this young man was playful and humorous.
That young man was none other than Taehyung’s younger brother, Kim Woomin.
Kim Saeon And Kim Heejoo
Taehyung’s Parents
Kim Jangho And Kim Yeonhee
Taehyung’s grandparents
Kim Woomin
Taehyung’s Younger Brother
Kim Jamie
Jamie is very mischievous, lively and bubbly; she was the heart of the house, being the only daughter of the family. She was about 22 years old.
Today, Woomin ad just returned from New York and seemed extremely happy.
As soon as Woomin saw Taehyung, he ran towards him and hugged him tightly.
Taehyung looked at him once and then pushed him away slightly, asking, “How was your New York trip?”
Hearing this, Woomin replied cheerfully, “Hyung, I had so much fun! There were so many sexy boys and girls there, and they were flirting with me. I told them to stay away, but they said I was very handsome and cute. What can I say, it was tough to get rid of them.”
Before Woomin could say more, Jamie interrupted, “Why are you bragging so much? If you liked them so much, you should’ve brought one along. At least we’d have gotten a brother or sister-in-law. Look at yourself you’re getting old. You should get married now, or you’ll end up having to marry an old lady!”
When Woomin heard this, he retorted irritably, “Shut up, brat! How dare you call me old? I still look younger than you. Everyone says I’m your younger brother!”
Hearing this, Jamie pouted and mumbled to herself, “If we can’t call an old man old, should we call him Jang Dong-gun? Though even Jang Dong-gun is an old man himself.”
Raising an eyebrow, Woomin said, “I can hear everything. Don’t talk too much.”
Watching them bicker, Taehyung’s grandmother Yeonhee, intervened and said, “Are you two kids? Stop fighting like children. And Jamie isn’t wrong you really should think about getting married.”
Woomin pouted and said, “Halmeoni, just look at my innocent face. If I get married, I won’t look innocent anymore.”
Jamie chimed in, “Oh yes, your face will definitely change after marriage. Even your wife will wonder what kind of husband they got one whose brain is in his knees.”
Yeonhee calmed them down and turned her attention to Taehyung, who was quietly having his breakfast. His face was emotionless. Yeonhee shook her head helplessly.
She then said to Taehyung, “Taebear, you are also aged now to get married. You should get married soon. I want to see my grandson’s wife. We’re getting old, and we want to play with our great-grandchildren too.”
Hearing this, everyone started smiling.
Woomin quickly added, “Yes, yes! Hyung will bring his wife very soon, won’t you, Hyung?”
Taehyung glared at him for a moment and then focused back on his breakfast, as if none of this concerned him.
Seeing his reaction, Heejoo whispered to Saeon, “This boy will never change.”
Saeon simply smiled at Heejoo’s remark, which irritated her, and she turned away to continue eating her breakfast.
Muttering to herself, she said, “Both father and son are the same. What am I supposed to do with the two of them?”
While everyone was talking, San arrived and bowed his head, saying, “Boss, your private jet is ready to depart for Busan.”
Taehyung nodded in acknowledgment and gestured for San to leave. Understanding the gesture, san immediately left. However, everyone was shocked to hear that Taehyung was going to Busan. No one could understand why he had suddenly decided to go there.
Heejoo, surprised, asked, “Tae, you’re going to Busan, and you didn’t think it was important to inform us?”
Without any expression, Taehyung replied, “I have some urgent work, so I have to go.”
Heejoo did not ask any further questions because she knew that once Taehyung said something, it was as good as carved in stone.
Softly, she said, “Alright, take care of yourself and come back soon. We’ll be waiting for you. You’ve only just returned home after so long, and now you’re leaving the same day. Don’t you ever feel bored living alone in your penthouse?”
Taehyung shook his head and replied, “No.”
Saeon, smiling, said, “Heejoo, why would our Tae feel bored? He has so much work in business that his entire day is spent in it.”
Heejoo’s face fell, and with a hint of irritation, she said, “So what? If Tae stay here, would we stop him from working? He could work while staying here. Is it really necessary for him to live away from us?”
Standing up, Taehyung said, “Okay, now I want to leave.”
Jaime quickly stood up and said, “Oppa, bring lots of gifts for me. If you don’t bring gifts for me, I won’t talk to you.”
As he was leaving, Taehyung simply said, “Okay.”
Pouting, Jaime said, “What okay? Can’t you speak to your only sister with a little love? You’re always scaring everyone. You’re so rude. I don’t want to talk to you.”
Taehyung raised his eyebrows and said, “Then don’t. I haven’t forced you to talk to me.”
Everyone stared at him in shock after hearing his words.
Jaime, looking at Heejoo, said, “See, Eomma? This is how he talks to me. Teach him how to talk nicely!”
Heejoo shook her head helplessly.
Ignoring everyone, Taehyung was about to leave when Woomin, sounding sad, said, “Hyung, I just got back today, and you’re leaving already. Is it really necessary for you to go?”
Hearing his words, Taehyung simply hummed in response. After he spoke in this way, no one asked him anything further.
Taehyung had now finished his breakfast and stepped outside. As soon as he came out, a bodyguard immediately opened the car door. Taehyung walked straight to his car and got inside. His face was emotionless at that moment. He looked out the window at the buildings of Seoul .
He took out his tablet and began gazing at Jungkook’s picture. Stroking the image gently, he murmured to himself, “Very soon, we’ll meet.”
Just then, a song started playing in the car:
“Every night in my dreams, I see you, I feel you
That is how I know you go on
Far across the distance and spaces between us
You have come to show you go on...”
Taehyung leaned his head back against the seat and started smiling faintly. There was an unusual smile on his face, almost as if it was a sign of an impending storm.
“Near, far, wherever you are
I believe that the heart does go on
Once more, you open the door
And you’re here in my heart, and my heart will go on and on...”
He closed his eyes, his mind lost in the melody and the memory of Jungkook.
"Love can touch us one time and last for a lifetime
And never let go till we’re gone
Love was when I loved you, one true time I hold to
In my life, we’ll always go on...”
Just then, the driver stopped the car and spoke softly, “Mr.Kim, we’ve reached the airport.”
Taehyung looked outside and saw that they had indeed arrived at the airport. The journey from the palace to the airport usually took an hour, but the time had passed so quickly as Taehyung had been lost in Jungkook’s picture that he didn’t even notice.
Unknowingly, a faint smile appeared on his face. The driver quickly opened the car door on Taehyung’s side, and Taehyung stepped out.
Everyone around turned to look at him, and why wouldn’t they? Taehyung’s personality was so strong and attractive that no one could take their eyes off him. Everyone standing nearby couldn’t help but gaze at him in admiration.
Just then, the first girl said, “Look at him, he’s so handsome! I wish he were my boyfriend; it would be amazing. I’d even give up partying for him.”
The second girl, twirling her hair with her fingers, replied, “You’re absolutely right. If he were in front of me, who would even want to party? If he were my boyfriend, I’d not just rule over Seoul but the entire world.”
But Taehyung didn’t glance at anyone. Instead, he went straight to his private jet and boarded it. Inside the jet, his fingers danced over the keyboard of his laptop. While working, he looked extremely dashing. His eyes were fixed on the laptop screen, but his heartbeat had increased. He was feeling very strange.
He said to himself, “Why the hell? This boy’s name is spinning in my mind. Just once, let me meet him, and I won’t let him go.” A smirk appeared on his face as he thought about Jungkook.
After a few hours of travel, Taehyung reached the Busan Gimhae International Airport. When he stepped out of the airport, he saw numerous luxury cars parked outside.
San walked up to one car, and the driver standing there bowed his head in greeting.
Taehyung simply nodded and got into the car.
As soon as Taehyung settled in, the driver sped the car down the road. San looked out at the stunning views of Busan, which were truly mesmerizing. Busan was a city of picturesque beaches, ancient temples, and bustling markets. It was home to iconic landmarks like Haeundae Beach, the Gamcheon Culture Village, and Beomeosa Temple, each more captivating than the last. If someone visited this city, they’d never feel like leaving. It wasn’t just that people lived in Busan; Busan lived in the people. Every aspect of the city seemed to touch the heart, just like it had touched Taehyung’s.
As Taehyung was passing by, he suddenly spotted the grand Beomeosa Temple nestled amidst the mountains.
Taehyung abruptly told the driver, “Stop the car.”
Hearing this, the driver immediately stopped the car. As soon as the car halted, Taehyung stepped out and walked straight toward the temple. Taehyung wasn’t someone who liked visiting temples, but for some reason, today, he found himself drawn to it.
The temple was magnificent and serene, surrounded by lush greenery. Its intricate wooden architecture and tiled roofs reflected the beauty of Korean culture. A soft breeze carried the faint sound of monks chanting, creating a tranquil atmosphere.
Inside the temple, Taehyung saw a large golden Buddha statue surrounded by offerings. The walls were adorned with colorful paintings of Buddhist stories, and paper lanterns hung from the ceiling, gently swaying in the breeze.
Just then, a monk approached Taehyung, offering him a small bowl of water and said, “Ask for what your heart desires. The Buddha always listens to those who seek with sincerity.”
Without any emotion, Taehyung replied, “Even the Buddha does not fulfill wishes without effort and hard work.”
Hearing Taehyung’s words, the monk smiled knowingly and walked away to attend to other visitors.
Nearby, there was a small stream flowing gently at the edge of the temple grounds. Taehyung noticed it and began walking toward it. Suddenly, he heard someone screaming.
“Help! Someone, please help me! I’m drowning!”
Hearing this, Taehyung’s heartbeat quickened. He took long strides toward the sound, feeling as though someone close to him was calling out for help.
When Taehyung reached the stream, he saw a boy struggling in the water, screaming loudly.
“Someone! Anybody, help me!”
Taehyung’s steps instinctively moved in his direction.
He saw him and was stunned. Taehyung quickly ran to save him. But before he could reach him, another young man jumped into the water and lifted the boy into his arms. The boy had already fallen unconscious.
Taehyung stopped in his tracks, standing still. A crowd had gathered around, but no one had stepped forward to help.
Taehyung stood there, staring blankly, his eyes blazing with anger. His fists clenched tightly in frustration, and the veins on his forehead and hands were clearly visible.
The young man quickly brought the boy out of the water and, scolding him angrily, said, “Jungkookie! Where is your focus? What if something had happened?”
Jungkook holding his ears with an innocent expression, replied, “Sorry, Woonie. My mind was elsewhere, and I accidentally slipped.”
Eunwoo glared at him, and Jungkook immediately hugged him. As soon as she hugged him, Eunwoo smiled and gently placed his hand on his head, saying, “Be careful from now on. Otherwise, no one will be worse than me.” He then grabbed Jungkook’s hand and took him with himself.
Meanwhile, Taehyung just stood there watching Jungkook walk away, wearing a red frock that reached his knees. At that moment, Taehyung looked terrifying. His eyes resembled those of a devil. Right then, Taehyung felt like he could drown Eunwoo in the river at this very spot, but despite his desires, he couldn’t do anything.
He somehow controlled his anger and said to himself, “No, Jungkook is only mine. Only mine. He can’t belong to anyone else, never! He will have to come to me, willingly or forcefully. I don’t care.”
Taehyung then left the temple and walked outside. When the driver saw him returning, he immediately opened the car door, and Taehyung got inside. At that moment, Taehyung’s face looked terrifying. His expression carried determination and obsession, and it was clear that he only wanted to claim Jungkook for himself.
After a while, Taehyung reached his farmhouse in Busan. The farmhouse was large and beautiful, white in color, and looked like it came straight out of heaven. Surrounding it were flowers, and in the middle, there was a large fountain with water spouting out. Numerous bodyguards were stationed around, looking alert and well-trained.
Taehyung went to his room, freshened up, and then went to his study room. He took out his laptop and sat on the sofa, working. His eyes were fixed on the laptop screen.
A few hours later…
In a large room, Taehyung sat on the sofa, lost in deep thought. On the outside, he appeared calm, like a still lake, but inside, there was a storm raging. He couldn’t stop thinking about Jungkook and Eunwoo’s closeness, which was making it hard for him to control his anger. His blood was boiling with rage.
Taehyung clenched his fists and said, “I have to do something to bring Jungkook to me, or else that guy will take him away from me.”
Then, after thinking for a while, an evil smile appeared on his face. He immediately called San. The call was answered quickly.
San: “Yes, Boss?”
Taehyung: “Listen to me carefully.” Taehyung then told him something that made san feel like the ground was slipping from under his feet. He couldn’t believe that Taehyung could even think of doing such a thing.
San felt a sense of fear but, thinking it might be his last chance, tried to convince Taehyung, saying, “Do you really want to do this, Boss? But if you do this, he will stay away from you and start hating you. You shouldn’t do this.”
Hearing San’s words, Taehyung’s brows furrowed.
