Summary

His voice was a low, velvety murmur, laced with a dangerous intensity as he leaned closer, his piercing gaze locking onto hers. "You don't understand, do you?" he began, his tone equal parts menace and longing. "You're not just a woman to me, Rose. You're the woman-the only one who's ever mattered. I want to own every part of you, body and soul. To love you so deeply, so fiercely, that there's no room left in this world for anyone else." He exhaled slowly, his lips curling into a dark smile. "You're my beauty, Rose. The light I'll protect with my darkness. And if it means becoming the beast to keep you, so be it. I'll claim you as mine in every way that matters, because losing you? That's not an option. Not now, not ever." Trigger Warning : Toxic , force , madness , manipulation , controlling

Prologue

"Stop the car!" she begged, her voice trembling with fear as the world outside blurred into streaks of light.

He didn’t even flinch, his hands gripping the steering wheel with cold determination. The roar of the engine drowned her pleas.

"Please!" she cried out, her voice breaking. "Stop! We’ll crash at this speed!"

His gaze flicked to her, dark and unyielding. "Say you love me "

Her heart pounded in her chest, the words barely registering. "What?" she stammered, her panic rising.

"I said," he repeated, his voice low and threatening, "say you love me , Then I’ll stop. Otherwise..." His foot pressed harder on the gas pedal, the car surging forward with dangerous force.

Tears welled in her eyes as she clutched the seat, her nails digging into the fabric. "Why are you doing this? Please, just stop!"

"Say it!" he barked, his voice sharp and unrelenting.

She swallowed hard, her breath hitching as she forced the words past her trembling lips. " I love you"

A slow, chilling smile spread across his face, satisfaction gleaming in his eyes. Without a word, he eased his foot off the accelerator, the car gradually slowing until it came to a halt.

The silence that followed was deafening, broken only by her ragged breaths. He leaned closer, his voice a whisper that sent shivers down her spine. "That wasn’t so hard, was it?"
