Who Is She?
I’m running from the girl with plastic bones.
She looks so strong, but is all alone.
Why is that snarl ripped across her face?
Why has she been replaced?
When the masses stand against her,
And she’s fighting for her life,
Who’s the demon beside her?
That suffocates the strife.
Where did she come from?
She’s a piece of the night,
That escapes her bounded chains.
Ready for a fight.
Is she skeptic?
Hectic?
Does she run toward farewell?
Does her grave undo spirits of hell?
If the master is her, who is she now?
Do we await the future she brings?
Her mask hides her reflection,
Her blood on inked skin.
Somewhere inside shallow halls,
Is a body left behind.
And we can’t explain a thing...
