Burning Desire 🔞

Summary

everyone has a price. And I’m going to find hers.” He’d start by making her family’s life a living hell. A few well-placed phone calls, a little pressure here and there… it wouldn’t take much. He could take everything from her – their home, their security, their peace of mind. And then, when she was on her knees, begging for his mercy, he’d offer her the same deal again. Only this time, she wouldn’t refuse. She’ll come crawling to me, he thought, his eyes burning with a cold fury. And when she does… He didn’t finish the thought. He didn’t need to. He knew exactly what he would do. He’d make her his. Completely. This is how their story begins. A story of obsession, revenge, and a dangerous desire that will bind them together in ways they never imagined.

Chapter 1

Episode 1: The Whispers of Fate

Setting: A quaint home in India, filled with the aroma of spices and the warmth of family.

(Scene opens with the soft glow of dawn filtering through the curtains. Soft classical Indian music plays in the background.)

Mrunal (Yn's Mom): "Uth ja, meri beti! (Wake up, my daughter!)"  She gently shakes Yn's shoulder. "The sun is already shining bright, and you're still dreaming? Your Papa has a big day planned, remember?"  A warm smile plays on her lips.

(Yn stirs, stretching languidly. She yawns, her long, thick eyelashes fluttering.)

Yn (to herself, in a sleepy, desi-infused tone): "Aai, thoda aur sone do na... (Mom, let me sleep a little more)..." She pulls the blanket over her head. "What's the rush? It's not like I have to catch a train."

(She finally sits up, rubbing her eyes. Her room is a reflection of her personality - vibrant and cozy, with colorful tapestries and posters of her favorite Bollywood stars. A half-finished sketch of a peacock rests on her desk.)

(Downstairs, the aroma of freshly brewed chai fills the air. Shashi (Yn's father) is reading the newspaper, while her brother, Rohan, is engrossed in his phone, occasionally chuckling at something on the screen.)

Yn: "Namaste, Papa! Good morning, everyone." She flashes a bright smile, her eyes sparkling.

Mrunal playfully nudges her with her elbow, raising an eyebrow. "Someone's a little slow this morning."

Yn (with a mischievous grin, pulling her tongue out at her father): "Kya? (What?) Did I miss something?"

Shashi chuckles, lowering his newspaper. "Someone's excited for tonight's function. My old friend, Mr. Kim, is coming with his family after ages. You remember, I told you about him?"

Yn: "Oh, the one you used to tell stories about? The legendary 'Taehyung's dad'?"

Shashi: "Exactly! And guess what? He has a son, too. A real handsome devil, if I remember correctly. A successful businessman, just like his father." He winks.

(Yn rolls her eyes playfully, but a flicker of curiosity ignites within her. She wonders what this Taehyung would be like.  Would he be as charming as her father made him sound, or just another rich, entitled heir?)

(Meanwhile, in Seoul, South Korea...)

(Taehyung's opulent penthouse apartment reflects his sophisticated yet carefree lifestyle.  Floor-to-ceiling windows offer a breathtaking view of the city skyline. He wakes up to the insistent ringing of his phone, his face shadowed with a hint of annoyance.)

Taehyung (in a deep, husky voice): "Yeah? What is it?"

(His assistant's voice comes through the phone, crisp and professional, relaying his schedule for the day – meetings with investors, a photoshoot for a magazine cover, and a string of social engagements he'd rather avoid.)

(Taehyung hangs up, a smirk playing on his lips. He's used to the attention, the constant stream of admirers vying for his attention. He lives life on his own terms, unbound by expectations or commitments. He glances at the city lights, a flicker of something unreadable in his eyes.)

(Later that day, as Yn helps her mother prepare for the evening's function, chopping vegetables with practiced ease, her thoughts drift to the upcoming guests. She wonders what Taehyung, the son of her father's old friend, would be like. Would he be anything like his father described? Or would he be just another arrogant, entitled businessman?)

(Back in Seoul, Taehyung is going through his wardrobe, selecting an outfit for the evening. He has a keen eye for fashion and always makes a statement wherever he goes. He picks out a sleek, tailored suit, considering the occasion. A business dinner with his father's old friend.)

(As he dresses, he can't shake off a strange feeling of anticipation. He doesn't know why, but he feels like tonight is going to be different.  He dismisses the thought, but the feeling lingers.)
