The seperated soul

The Story of the Little GIRL & BOY

The little girl, though older, had always felt alone. She had learned to carry burdens far heavier than her small frame should have allowed, wearing her struggles like armor. Life had not been kind to her. While others her age laughed, played, and dreamed freely, she was forced to grow up too soon. Poverty had stolen her childhood, leaving behind nothing but responsibility and survival.

At just fifteen, she worked tirelessly to support her family, her hands calloused from labor, her back aching from days spent on her feet. School, once a dream, became a luxury she could no longer afford. She watched from the sidelines as others her age moved forward in life, while she remained trapped in a cycle of duty, sacrifice, and longing.

Love, when she thought she had found it, became another burden—a lesson in disappointment. She gave her heart away only to have it broken, used, and discarded as if it held no value. She learned, painfully, that love did not always mean kindness. It did not always mean safety.

Then, across a screen, she met the little boy.

He was younger, yet he carried the weight of the world on his shoulders. Though separated by time zones and an entire world, they saw themselves in each other’s eyes. He had known struggle, too, though in different forms. He had spent years searching for a father’s love, only to be met with rejection, coldness, and violence—both the kind that left bruises on his skin and the kind that left scars on his heart.

Loneliness had driven him to darkness. Addiction became his escape, numbing the pain that threatened to consume him. It was easier to drown in oblivion than to face the emptiness inside. But no matter how much he tried to fill the void, it only seemed to grow, swallowing him whole.

Then, across a screen, through messages that turned into long conversations and calls that stretched into the early hours of the morning, they found each other.

Maybe it was fate.

Maybe it was something even deeper—an unspoken understanding between two broken souls who had been searching for someone to see them, to truly see them, for who they were beneath the pain.

She found freedom in him. With him, she could breathe. She could laugh, complain, and speak her mind without fear of judgment. He listened. Always.

And the little boy, though younger, felt older when he was with her. He wanted to be strong for her. He wanted to protect her, to be the pillar she never had in her life.

Their lives were worlds apart, yet their souls were intertwined. When one suffered, the other felt it. When one cried, the other ached. Though they never met, never touched, they carried each other’s burdens as if they were their own.

She confided in him in ways she never had with anyone else. She told him about her fears, her regrets, and the nights she lay awake, wondering if life would ever give her a chance to be something more than just someone who survived.

And in return, he let her see his demons. He told her about the nights he fought himself, the moments he felt like he was drowning with no way out. He told her about his father, about the pain of being unwanted, about the suffocating grip of addiction.

She never judged him.

She never turned away.

Instead, she stayed. She reminded him that he wasn’t alone, that he wasn’t beyond saving.

He wasn’t healed. She wasn’t saved. But together, they made the pain more bearable.

The world saw them as separate—different ages, different places, different lives. But they knew the truth.

They were one soul.

Separated.

But never apart.

And as time passed, through every high and low, through every battle fought and lost, there was one promise they never broke—

“I will forever be yours.“
