Introduction
Many centuries ago, in a faraway land, three blessed babies were born: Jetta, Jovie, and Julius.
Before the children were born, people worshipped and believed in only one deity, Solam. The Goddess was known as their Creator and Savior.
For centuries, Solam was loved by many, yet despite all the devotion, she felt an emptiness inside her. Her greatest wish was to be a mother, but as a Goddess, she could not conceive. After much contemplation, Solam decided to bless a woman’s pregnancy. The woman would undergo a sacred ritual, allowing her child to carry Solam’s bloodline and inherit one of her divine gifts.
The chosen woman was Lilia, a beloved and extraordinary young lady.
Solam’s joy was immeasurable when she discovered that Lilia was blessed with triplets. When the babies were born, each was granted a unique gift. The eldest, Jetta, was gifted with darkness. The second-born, Jovie, possessed the power of light. Lastly, the youngest, Julius, was granted the most powerful ability of all—the power of creation.
Once the children came of age, Solam taught them how to control and use their gifts for the greater good. However, not all stories end in a fairytale.
As they reached adulthood, tensions arose. Jetta, the eldest daughter, became envious of Julius’ gift. Her jealousy consumed her so deeply that she attempted to kill her brother—but failed. Upon learning of the attack, Solam had no choice but to imprison Jetta in the underworld.
With the help of Jovie and Julius, Solam cast a powerful spell that could only be broken if a descendant from each of her children came together and used their gifts to undo it.
Following these tragic events, Solam made a fateful decision. She granted all future generations abilities, even to those who were not related to her or her children.
“By gifting all people, we shall prevent betrayal and deceit,” Solam declared during a gathering of humanity. “From this day forward, until the end of time, every generation shall be blessed with an ability.”
However, there was one condition:
Only three Powerful Households would exist.
• Household Yeng – descendants of Jetta.
• Household Ling – descendants of Jovie.
• Household Cheng – descendants of Julius.
For generations, this story was passed down to children. Even in the present day, the three Powerful Households continue to exist. The people’s abilities are ranked into three categories:
• Nossu – the lowest rank.
• Jussu – the middle rank.
• Tessu – the upper rank, considered the strongest among common people, though they are no match for a descendant of the Powerful Households.
To ensure that everyone learned to control their abilities, schools were established centuries ago, offering basic education, skill development, and training in using their gifts. Though all schools provided excellent learning, two stood above the rest:
• Forest Hill High
• Mountain High
In these elite schools, students were not only taught standard subjects but were also trained in combat and pushed to develop their abilities to their full potential.
For centuries, peace and stability reigned—until one day, when a particular young lady enrolled at Forest Hill High, and everything began to fall apart.
Secrets, long buried, began to surface.
