If I was in Squid Game

Warning: This book is family friendly but there is a few cuss words, so about pg-13

One day in Seoul, the entire school made a bold deal: if the four best Four Square players could defeat the teachers, they would take control of the school for the rest of the month. However, if they lost, every student would have to hand over all their money to the teachers. Confident in their skills, the students accepted.

But they lost.

Now broke and hopeless, they wandered the streets—until a mysterious man approached them with an offer. He wanted to play Ddakji. The problem? Our class was the only one that actually knew what Ddakji was, and we had only been playing for about three days. We weren't exactly experts.

We got slapped around.

One by one, we took hit after hit until, eventually, everyone managed to win a round. But the moment we did, everything went dark. We had been knocked out and thrown into a van.

When we woke up, we weren't alone.

Our entire school was there. From preschoolers to fifth graders, they had taken everyone.

Then I saw my seven-year-old sister. My stomach dropped. This is bad...

Determined to survive, I quickly formed a group with Elijah, Sora, Easton, Sophia, Dallas, and Ester. We made a pact: we would stick together no matter what. Me and Sora were the only ones that actually watched squid game. So you know I'll be pulling the 456 on everyone meanwhile Sora will be pulling the "bEaUtY fLoWeR" (Lol).

Before we had time to process everything, masked men in red uniforms entered the room. Their faces were hidden behind geometric-shaped masks as they made their announcement:

"Welcome, contestants. These are the Squid Games. You will be competing in a series of games to win a final cash prize of 45.6 billion won."

Three million US dollars? Who in their right mind would risk their life for that? but thats not the topic of this story. the first game began: Red Light, Green Light.

The rules were explained by the announcer:

"Red Light, Green Light. The rules are simple—move when the doll says 'Green Light,' stop when it says 'Red Light.' If you fail to stop, you will be eliminated."

I immediately sprinted to the front of the group, shouting, "Everybody, listen up! If you move, you die! I mean, actually die! You'll get shot!"

At first, the Front Man dismissed me, scoffing, "Nobody's going to believe this oversized ice cream roll." But to his frustration, the students did believe me. Suddenly, chaos erupted in the control room.

"MOTHERF— WHY DO THEY BELIEVE THIS FUCKING SUMO WRESTLER?!" the Front Man bellowed.

The game began, and the students surged forward. But the younger kids—those who hadn't been paying attention—were just walking, unaware of the danger. Panic set in as people shouted at them to hurry. Some managed to pick up speed, but others were too slow. The sound of gunfire cracked through the air.

One kid sprinted ahead like Usain Bolt, only to be gunned down in an instant. A girl named Kylee screamed in horror, "That was my brother! That was my brother!"

I grabbed her by the arm and whispered, "Run. Run like there's no tomorrow."

Because for many of us, there wouldn't be.
