What is your opinion?

Anyone, but You

"I really enjoyed this book. I did find that the strongly written accent made me slow my reading but that’s not altogether a bad thing lol. As always it is well written, edited and researched and although it took me quite some time to like the lead female, it was a great story with a great ending "

The power of love

"I enjoyed this story from start to finish! It's the perfect romance, and it will surprise you along the way. The main characters, Abby and Callum, are both so well-written and well-rounded. They both have had their own emotional hardships, which they need to heal from. Their journey is both a physical and psychological one, with the West-Highland Way symbolising their growth. Along the way, they get to know each other and support each other. Abby's unhealthy previous relationship has hurt her and made her weary, but Callum manages to slowly have her open up again. Callum's past is absolutely heartbreaking. He is a broken man before Abby helps him cope with the past and helps him finally start his healing process. These two are not only likeable, I have grown to love them. Mae has crafted an absolutely beautiful story, full of love, healing, and passion. The descriptions make you feel like you're there, watching the breathtaking scenery. It takes you on a journey filled with animosity at first, humour, tenderness and deep love. And you'll learn some Scottish along the way! But beware, this story will tug at your heartstrings! I would strongly recommend, especially if you're a fan of swoonworthy romance in a gorgeous setting."

Beautiful lovestory

"An intimate and beautifully crafted love story that captivates from the very first page. The Scottish landscape is exquisitely described, immersing the reader in its raw beauty. The mythology, folklore, and very heart of Scotland are woven seamlessly into the narrative, bringing the setting to life. At its core, this novel is a deeply emotional journey, following two characters as they slowly unravel the walls built by their past traumas. Their connection is tender and raw, unfolding in a way that feels achingly real. The author masterfully portrays their struggles and growth, allowing us to witness how vulnerability turns into trust, and how love becomes a force for healing. Written in an enchanting and richly descriptive style, this novel is a true literary gem."

Sweet Love Story

"Meander through the West Highland Way with Abby and Callum. The imagery is so strongly written you can envision the countryside, mountains, and villages. Callum’s pain is palpable and his storytelling is fantastic. Enjoyable and immersive read!"

anyone, but you.

"My heart was so involved with this amazing story of love lost and found, a true fairy tale. The writer has an unbelievable skill of description, making you feel the feelings of the characters, their pain, happiness, uncertainty and their love. I would love to experience this kind of love, especially with a gorgeous highlander. The writer incorporated true information as in locations and parts of the history and lore which Scotland is steeped in, leaving the desire to know more. I had found love of Scotland decades ago and let it slip away over the years, but reading this brought it all back to me, even remembering the language which I have not heard or spoken in so very long. Thank you Mae Miller for bringing Scotland back to me. "

They could make a movie out of this 😉

"Liked the story, very straight forward. Like the personal touch of written scottish 😃Would have liked Abby to have a little bit more depth, now everything was more or less about Callum and his pain and even his sorrow, althou it was written well and very touching (had to cry more than once while reading this) felt a little bit missing the depth. The story unravels well and for someone, who’s never been to Scotland, the scenery was painted and descriped beautifully. All in all, very nice story making the reader to fall in with it and hoping for the happy ever after! 🌟🌟🌟"
