Don’t go quiet

And the saying goes

‘Do not go quiet…

Into the dying of the light’

And I will not go quiet

He  said ‘rage rage against the dying of the light’

So I will not die silent

I will not be quiet

No matter how

I hear the beating drums

No matter when they come for me and tell me my time is done

I will remember to rage,

Not to quiet.

No.

I won’t be SILENT.

Now rage rage against the dying of the light

Because even though the time to save it seems tight

And the twinkle of its light seems slight

If we take our aim and time it right

We might not have to live quiet.
