What is your opinion?
A Rich Setting
"I enjoyed the gradual introduction of the world and its various nations, and the same goes for the characters. As the plot progresses, their inner workings and motivations become more evident to the reader, so patience is rewarded. High-quality editing is evident in sentence structure, grammar, etc. I especially liked Elise and how she manages to navigate different threats despite her fears. For honesty's sake, I'm currently at episode 7 and going to continue reading."
The last stand eleven years war
"Really good storyline, action always building up .with great characters. Easy reading"
Love!!!
"Its exciting and emotional. I look forward to starting book 2! "
Incredible.
"Excellently written. There are some grammar issues that could be found with a simple edit on the authors part but that's the only flaw I see. Incredible cliffhanger ending and the characters have great depth. Loved every minute of it."
Fab story
"Loving this book....couldn't stop reading it. Please write book 2.... Peter "
A Triumph
"Only read the first four chapters so far and I’m already in love with it. This is one for those who enjoy descriptive writing, (as myself) and those who enjoy a fleshed our world and this book certainly delivers. "
Great beginning!!!
"I only read the first chapter, but I plan on reading more and updating this review. I loved the intrigue of the main character's supernatural abilities and of this war that is ravaging her land. The whole scene with her taking care of the Watchman was very well done, and I liked that you didn't really beat around the bush with his injuries. Although, I kind of thought it was strange that she just pulled the bolt out and stitched him up. I expected her to clean his injury to make it less likely to become infected. Either way, my interest is peaked. I like this a lot, and I hope that you do end up publishing it. Great work!"
That's a lot of chapters!!!
"Hi, I'm just going to tell you everything I think about it so far. The summary...it's well done! You reeled me in. The first chapter was very well done, I was completely absorbed into this! So you deserve a vote from me! I liked the story a lot! I liked the lands of your name, the first conflict of the story. The feeling of the story was well established! About Olrick. His injuries really give us something to be sorry about. It makes us grow fond of him. I like how that's done. This story seems pretty old looking at the link. I take it you written this a few months ago? How not a lot of people have read this is a damn shame, because they could be having some great reading into their minds! Good luck in the Dreamlands contest!"
The Last Stand - The Eleven Years War (Book 1)
"This is the story of one man's ambition to rule the world and the effects on a small town doctor (Elise) and her family and friends over the two months following the arrival of General Raul's invading army at her small town. It is a gripping tale of war, intrigue and heroism, well told and in true form, ending with a cliffhanger. Being pedantic, were it not for the numerous typos, straight out misspellings and errors in terminology, which I would expect any beta or proof reader to pick up and correct, I would have given this book Five Stars. For instance a military unit is a Corps (pronounced Core), a knife goes in a sheath and a sword into a Scabbard. All in all a great story well worth the read."
Fascinating!
"Read the first 2 chapters, and I'm already hooked! There one or two things I wanted to point out: in medical descriptions, don't forget to clean out the wound! Especially with a crossbow bolt, if it went through the shoulder, it would be much harder to pull out than a regular arrow, may I suggest breaking the tip off on either end then pulling it out so the arrow tip doesn't tear the muscle or meat inside. Other than that, perfect so far!"
Needs Cutting.
"Start the story when something happens - wounded boy enters with a cross bolt in his shoulder. This may seem hard but is the reader interested in the roof being fixed or its raining? You could cut this in half to make it much more interesting. Sorry but this needs a lot of work."
