Chapter 1: The Talent Show
The sharp sound of Sarah’s alarm clock shattered the early morning calm, jolting her from sleep. Panic set in as she realized she hadn’t prepared for the talent show, which would start in hours. Adrenaline surged as she leapt from bed, remembering the USB stick holding her carefully crafted animation at home.
As she sprinted to school, determination lit her face. Bursting through the doors, excitement filled her, but dread soon followed when she discovered the USB stick was missing. As her name echoed over the loudspeaker, dread turned to panic as she rummaged through her bag, finding nothing but textbooks and pens.
With every passing moment, anxiety mounted. Her classmates’ whispers turned into laughter. Overwhelmed with shame, she ran home, tears falling from the corners of her eyes.
