Summary

Nattie has reached the pinnacle of her career. She is now president and major stock holder of a billion dollar company with far reaching influence. However, Nattie finds she is battling her old culture and her old life. If she had thought Viperians had hard to dissipate beliefs, the people of A’ppollo are even worse. Providing goods and services isn’t what makes good business. Politics do. And connections make or break a business no matter how vital or well run it is. And behind the politics are the filthy rich, male dominate society and their wives, where prestige, breeding, and education are everything. Which leads to the one thing Nattie and Uri don’t have. They are only husband and wife within the Viperian community. Relationships don’t need to be sealed with paper. And sex is both a weapon of strength and a symbol of weakness. One needs to prevail.
