Unattainable Freedom

I saw a freedom so unreal

That it was ugly.

A freedom that you would never see in the modern day world.

I’ll never be able to break the chains that shackle my ankles

I’ll never be free of financial decisions

I’ll never be free from the judging stares

I’ll never be so easily accepted by the weight of the atmosphere.

So to that freedom I saw, you are sad.

You are a freedom that’s only spoken of

A freedom unattainable

A freedom that makes no difference since it doesn’t exist

Not even air has that freedom

To that freedom I saw

You are so beautiful

That you are ugly

You’re my unattainable dream

My unattainable freedom
