Him or Her?

I came to a crossroad this lifetime... Should I stay where I was raised? Or should I stray and find her? She’s been calling, but he hasn’t spoken. I hear no signs of Him, only Her whispering softly, yet insistently, in my ear.

Paganism or Christianity? Can it be both? Him or Her? God or Mother Hecate? I stand at the edge, unsure where to go... Do I follow the Mother who has been calling, or the Father who has remained silent, absent like an unspoken promise?

Him or Her? Hell or Heaven? Either way, I am going somewhere… Hell or Heaven? Either way, I’m going somewhere…

They say Hecate chooses women, those who’ve endured pain, those whose hearts carry sorrow. She seeks to harness that power to free us, to release us from the chains of fear and doubt.

But then there’s Him, the God whose name echoes through a book I question. A book they say holds the truth— But why does it prioritize men over women? Why is He always at the center, while we—the daughters—are left waiting in the wings? Yes, women are mentioned, but not enough to reflect the balance she offers, not enough to mirror the way Mother Hecate cares for her children.

Him or Her? They say when you trust Him, when you believe in Him, He will grant you the keys to Heaven— The golden mansions, the Garden of Eden. If I don’t believe in Him, they say I’ll go to Hell— That word, that place they use as a threat. Mother Hecate guides the fallen at the crossroads, easing their fears, helping them transition from life to death. She offers understanding, with no belief required and no punishment demanded. Why is Hell used as a weapon against those who don’t follow Him? Why must it be the price of doubt?

Why does He get to be the sole ruler? They say it’s demonic to worship other Deities, but are they even thinking that HE’S also a Deit,y as God that we can’t see...a man who’s jealous that he isn’t enough, as when there are other gods— Other powers that have their place in the world? He’s a god, yes, but so are the Titans, the ancient forces that shape everything, Powers that do not need walls or boundaries...

The foolishness of those who obey blindly to traditions without understanding the contradictions they live in. They call themselves Christians, but celebrate Pagan holidays. Christmas—the very celebration of the solstice, A holiday rooted in ancient rites, yet they never pause to question. The hypocrisy of it all is blinding.

It’s either Him or her. I’m lost in a labyrinth of beliefs, my heart crowded with shadows I can’t trust, Unsure where to place it. But I will choose— Because I must.
