"I read this book a while ago and it just stuck. Now I had to re-read it and it's just as good as I remember if not better. The characters are so perfect, the dialouge flawless and the feeling of the world is captured so beautifully. The mix of humor, spice, mystery and action is what I look for in a story and Beau(+Koda)+Caius and company brings just that. I look forward to the continuation of the story and big kudos to the author. 11/10. It's definitely one of the best I've read on this platform (and off it)."

"What a truly wonderful and unique story. Unsurprisingly it is well written and edited with plenty of drama, romance, love, fantasy, erotica and humour. This author writes with such an easy and comfortable style that you find time has run away and you’re halfway through before you even realise it! I absolutely love everything she’s written and this is officially my favourite (psst..... don’t tell her but that also applies to everything else in her library 🤫j"

A truly beautiful story and must-read!
"This story had me literally hooked from the start and I instantly fell in love with Caius, and then with Beau, the two MCs. Not to mention the inner wolf who always expressed exactly what I was thinking. I loved the main side characters as well, including one who isn't present much but central to the story somehow. I somehow just fell in love with him and am so delighted that there will be a sequel with more of these MCs (more from the four core characters) and with more from this particular character as well with whom I have become so obsessed. I say 'for whatever reason,' but the reason is this book is so well-written. The characters are so well fleshed out, and the intensity of their feelings are well described. Not to mention hints that were dropped to give us clues as to what to expect next, and STILL, it came as an utter surprise and shock when those events happened. There were a lot of twists and bombshells that either had me jumping in excitement or writhing with worry. And I loved every bit of it. This story also expands on typical mythos and creates a new dynamic between vampire and werewolf lore, integrating the Native people of Canada in such a beautiful way. It truly felt like a gorgeous depiction of culture and lore intertwined. I am still filled with so many emotions after reading this story and am anticipating its sequel. That cliffhanger has me feeling so many emotions and thinking so many theories. Beautiful story! No words can fully describe how it touched me and the joy it brought me to dedicate my time to reading it. Thank you for bringing these characters into our lives."

"It’s so fitting; Beau likes manga and the (inner) dialog in this story would be so perfect for manga, or even better in anime. The plot captivates, but the dialog often has me in stitches. I love it."

Early review because this book deserves it
"The book is not even completed yet and I'm already 100% invested in the characters and the storyline. The first chapter sucked me right in (pun intended) and I can't wait to see what the story brings to Caius and Beau. This is the second book I've read by Nicole, and I truly appreciate how she develops characters to make you fall in love with them and want to cheer them on. There's a perfect balance of comedy and spice. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this read and I'm eagerly awaiting the rest of the story to be posted! "
Leave boring cliches out the door
""My Fated Mate is a Vampire" is by far the most hilarious, emotional and fun werewolf/vampire story I have read on Inkitt. From the beginning, you're thrown into Caius and Beau's world. A world where an aristocratic (and utterly delightful) vampire looks to shed his lavish lifestyle and take to the woods in Canada. Unbeknownst to him, he's about to meet his new home's renovator ... and mate. Beau, a sexy werewolf and ex-smoker, who knows how to handle a toothpick (it's super hot, let's be real), is busy spiraling. His pack is pressuring him to choose a Luna, forcing him to cement the mask he wears for his family. A heterosexual mask that's starting to itch. Added to that, he's been tasked with renovating a house with some ... interesting requirements (wine racks, filled to the brim with "wine"). However, upon bumping into the (seemingly pompous and eccentric) homeowner, the mask he's wearing is starting to slip. Because let's be honest ... it's kind of hard to hide yourself when you find your Fated Mate. This story is chock-full of surprises, secrets, mysteries and comedy. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a change from the typical werewolf tropes and cliches. Not only is the plot intriguing, but the fact that it's about two men finding love is so utterly refreshing ♥ Props to Nicole for, once again, writing a novel that is bound to hit bookstores everywhere x "

"So... it's earlier in the book than I usually like to review but - it's just such a great book! I love the subversion of the common werewolf tropes, the incredible humour, the tension and drama in the hidden identities of both MCs - and of course as always, put into Nicole's wonderful writing style - I love it, I read all the chapters as they come out and look very much forward to how all the delicious conundrums the MCs are in will be solved... Oh... and don't get me started on the spice..."
