A Captivating Blend of Romance, Mystery, and Thrill
"This story is a mesmerizing fusion of romance and mystery, delicately laced with the intensity of a psychological thriller. From the very first page, it draws you into a world where love and danger intertwine, and nothing is ever quite what it seems. The narrative is rich with unexpected plot twists and dramatic turns that keep you guessing until the very end. Each character is crafted with remarkable depth, carrying a well-developed backstory that adds emotional weight and realism to their actions. Their motivations are believable, their relationships complex, and their growth throughout the story is both compelling and beautifully portrayed. The writing itself is elegant and evocative, painting vivid scenes and emotions with poetic precision. It’s the kind of prose that lingers in your mind long after you’ve finished reading. What truly elevates this story is its ability to balance suspense with tenderness. Just when you think you've unraveled the mystery, a new layer is revealed—sometimes heartbreaking, sometimes breathtaking. It’s a tale that doesn’t just entertain; it resonates."
A riveting masterpiece that promises angst and romance in equal measure
"I love this...the way the author describes scenes, the way they paint a picture so vivid that it feels alive in your brain. The characters are solid....Their thoughts and their actions have a consistency that's hard to write out and is usually absent from most books, which just shows the level of skill that the author boasts. The dialogue is also strong and mostly relevant, though I may find it too descriptive at times. This author once told me to 'show more rather than telling more,' and in this instance they practiced what they preached indeed, and now I know what it means to truly tell a story that captivates the reader. This is really worth the read. "
I love the Mystery & resilience
"Olawoyin Flame is a suspenseful and emotionally charged read that pulls you in from the very beginning. Oyinade Olawoyin does a beautiful job of capturing the deep struggles of Isa, the strength and Chris' strength , and the haunting mystery surrounding Alex’s past and his complicated relationship with his family. "
A poetic story
"The book starts off with the pre-story, prologue. The author takes an interesting turn by writing the first chapter with one-line sentences. It's a little out of the usual, but it works to the book's advantage, especially keeping the focus on our character's emotional mindset. Within the first proper chapters of the book, we're introduced to the author's poetic style of descriptions, e.g., in chapter two, they describe Chris entering a room and beautifully describe the atmosphere of it being void and old, it really hooks you in, especially with the storyline. The story follows Chris and Isa, and their chance of possibly making amends in their hearts for one another. The author keeps good pacing within the chapters to show their pasts, their dynamics and hints at their future 'dynamics' with each other. They do well in demonstrating the slow-burning category, and it's a really interesting read. I implore you to give it a go :)"
