Chapter 1
Sitara Pov :
After a long tiring day I'm finally home. I was going to my room but I saw someone sitting on the couch and talking with mom. At first I was going to ignore them but then I heard the male's voice . And that's when I realised he is no other than my father's one and only best friend and our well wisher Mr. Singh.I was in my thoughts suddenly ‐--
Mr. Singh - Ohh How are u my Sweetheart??
Me - I am good uncle . How are u ?
Mr. Singh - I am also good . Why are u standard there come here and sit with us
Mom - yea Tara come here
Me - yes mom
Mr. Singh - How is ur study going on ??
Me - Good
They got busy with their talks after that . Actually my dad used to be Mr. Singh's best friend and secretary. One night when they were coming from a business trip they got into a accident and in that accident my dad sacrificed himself while saving Mr. Singh that time I was just 10 years old. After dad's death Mr. Singh took the responsibility of me and my mom. He is a really good person he still gets upset remembering his best friend.
Mom - Sitara Sitara
Me - yyes mom
Mom - where are u lost ?? Uncle is calling u for a while
Me - ohh sorry uncle
Mr. Singh - It's ok don't be sorry
Mom - Brother u told me on call thta u want to say something . Whta is it ??
Mr. Singh - Actually when 11 years ago Karan(Sitara's father) was in his last moment he took a promise from me that in future I will marry Sitara to my only son Yashvardan. So now I want to fulfill my promise to my best friend.
Mom - (almost crying)How can that possible brother ? Sitara is just 21 now and she didn't finished her studies yet
Me - (silent)
Mr. Singh - She can continue after marriage. We won't stop her and the main reason I am this because I'm on my third state of cancer so I want to complete my promise. Please I'm requesting you .
Mom - It's Sitara life so whatever she choose I'll support her
Me - Uncle I don't know . I need time to process everything
Mr. Singh - Take ur time Tara but think that it's ur father's wish
Me - Hm
Mr. Singh - It's getting late I should get going now take care (patting Sitara's head )
Mom - Take care u also brother
Me - take care uncle
( Mr.Singh left )
Mom - Sitara darling no one is forcing u so take ur time
Me - ok mom
