Chapter 1 BEFORE THE STORM
This is the life story of a boy named Eric...
Eric was a child who loved his parents more than anything in this imperfect world. He was kind and mischievous by nature.
Being an only child, his parents raised him with a lot of love and without much scolding. This made him even more naughty as he grew up.
Before Eric’s 20th birthday...
Eric was a cute little boy raised by his loving parents, John and Elizabeth.
He was poor at studies and an introvert, even though he was the most mischievous kid at school. Eric had a best friend named Ryan, and they grew up together.
John, Eric's father, was a math teacher at the same school Eric attended. They went to school together every day. But even though Eric was the teacher's son, most of the complaints at school were about him. He was that naughty.
One day, Eric overheard some teachers talking among themselves:
"John doesn't even know how to take care of his own child, and then he comes to teach other students."
Those words hurt Eric deeply. But because of the love he had for his parents, especially for his father, he decided to change himself.
From that day on, he studied hard and focused on his goals. Eventually, he secured the first rank in school and made his parents proud.
The 20th birthday party...
But on the night of Eric’s 20th birthday, the most unexpected thing happened—something that would change his life completely.
It turned him into the worst version of himself and marked the beginning of a painful journey…
