Chapter 1
The stars were shining so bright in the night sky of the small town in the farm land of great valley Montana. The fireflies were glowing to attract thier mates so they can make the new generation for their offsprings. The sounds of crickets chirping making it more soothing and peaceful.
The cool breeze of the wind blowing gently across making them move like rushing waves, but Rosie who was ten years old who was still up. Watching the full moon and bright stars and listening to the frogs sings, as she waits for for the sun to rise till dawn. Roise is a kind sweet girl who loves the night sky and flowers. She spend most of her days helping her family out in the farm and gardening. Even though she is ten she would tell her parents about the outdoors and help her mom with art and craft ideas for her mother's shop.
Roise was near her window waiting for the night to turn into beautiful shades of orange and red when the sun comes out. She wrapped herself in her blanket like a cocoon. "Come on please rise.) Rosie smiles. Just than her door open that her parents came in and they smile and shake their heads. Rosie smile and giggle with puggy cheeks. "Rosie, you should've been asleep by now." Said her mother. Rosie's brown eyes shine in the moonlight as she giggles and her brown curly hair was a messy. (Momma, Papa come watch the sunrise with me!" Said Rosie.
Both her parents went to sit down on the bed while she giggles as her parents settled on the bed. Her father smirks as he misses with her hair.) "Now why would my sweet little pumpkin be up so early at this time of night." He smiles. As he stroke his beard playfully. Rosie smiles more and points at the night sky from her window and they see the stars disappearing. "Look Papa the sun is coming out!" Said Rosie.
The sun slowly rises from the mountain tops and the shades of orange and yellow starts brighten the land, and the rooster gave it's morning call as her father smiles and jokes. "Maybe i should replace the rooster for you little pumpkin, we can cook him up for dinner." He joked.
"No Papa! He's part of the family. Who will take care of his ladies!?"
Rosie's mom chuckles. "Alright sweetie the rooster stays."
Rosie smiles and nuzzles close to her parents. " How did we ever end up with a sweet kind girl like you?" Asked her mother.
"Cause you ask heaven for one momma." Said Rosie as she smiles while her parents hold her tight.
Over the years Rosie had a peaceful and happy life of her family anf home, and enjoy her days of the farm. But after some time as she got older her father slowly started to forgotten and become sick. The doctor told them that he was developing dementia. Rosie was a little heart broken and fell into sadness of it. But she put on a brave face and smile through the rough days. She focused on school while trying to help her father through this rough time.
She grew up to be a big young beautiful woman with a kind heart, though she did get teased and bullied on her body size. Round and plump with big hips and thighs, chest. Yep she was plus size but she wasn't letting that stop her she was studying to be a nurse and a damn good one. She wanted to help people and make sure their healthy and happy l so they don't suffer like she did.
Rosie was in class studying and taking notes in health class for medical school as she smiled and writing down notes, she pushed a strang of curly brown hair behind her hair. Her clothes hugging her plump body of her blouse and jeans. She wanted to be a nurse so she can help people in the hard time in need, and trying to help the sick and wounded. She would studying day and noght for test and lessons.
She soon hears her phone and saw the text from her friend Lisa asking if they're have dinner at her family's house on the farm. Rosie texted back saying yes as she continues to write down information in her up coming test of the hospital for field training in one for until summer. The bell rang abd that was the end of class and school hours.
"Alright pencils down tomorrow will pick this up this lesson later for the coming test next month for training so be prepared and good luck." Said professor Johnson. Rosie grabbed her textbooks and laptop and put them in her bag and place her notes on her teacher's desk, and walked out of the classroom and went to see Lisa her best friend.
When Rosie saw her from the hallway on campus she smiled and gave her a big hug. Lisa had long blonde hair with brown eyes and a tiny scar under her chin. Since Rosie wanted yo be a nurse and lisa was studying to be a doctor and they vowed as kids that they'll be partners in the future, to help each other. "Roise i got your text. I'll be over at the farm once i finish this paperwork i had yo fill put later.
"No problem Lisa i just can't wait to train and learn at the hospital for next month with real people and stuff." Rosie and Lisa smiled as they walked out on the campus parking lot as Rosie gets in her truck. "Rosie i heard your dad was having one of his moments at the store near the market place, is he okay?" Asked Lisa.
Rosie gave a sad smile while trying to stay positive and calm. "He's doing okay now he calmed down after i told him stories of me and mom." said Rosie.
"Listen if it were to happen again give me a call okay? You know I'm bere for you." Said Lisa as she smiles trying to be supportive for her.
"I will i promise Lisa." Roise starts the engine of her truck and slowly drove off to the college campus and on the dirt road as she passed through the farm lands and town. Honest Rosie loved her life in this small town of Montana and the people with it. Everyone knew everyone, even her and her family
But her with her dad losing his memories each day it's better or worse which makes her sad and feeling hopeless at times. She drove up the hill on the dirt path up to the farm where she sees her teo older brothers working ad she waves at them and parks her truck. She got out and went inside the house, and was quickly greeted by her mom and little brother. "Hi momma!" She hugs them tight.
"Roise my sweet pumpkin dinner will be ready soon." Her mom smiled and kissed her cheek. When she sees her dad come up to her he looked confused at first trying to figure who she is. "Who's this Mi amor?" He asked. Rosie smiles sadly trying to hold back the tears. "Hi dad miss me?" Rosie joned as her father smiles.
