Summary

What if the creatures you created to bring beauty to your world began hunting you? Isla’s pastel dreams come to life in the form of fantastical creatures—delicate fairies, glowing flowers, and shimmering beings. But when her creations begin to grow out of control, Isla discovers a horrifying truth: they are bound to her life force, and their existence depends on her. As these beautiful beings turn dangerous, Isla must unravel the mystery of how they came to be, and how far she’s willing to go to destroy them—or herself. Flesh of Flowers is a dark tale of creation, obsession, and the chilling cost of imagination.

Chapter 1

Welcome, dear wanderer,

to a world wrapped in petals of midnight jasmine and pearly white lilacs.

Here, the air tastes like ripe strawberries, but with a hint of something sharp—

as if the sweetness hides a secret, a taste you can’t quite place.

Be careful where you step.

Every lily, every lavender stalk, bends with whispers,

and the honeyed fragrance may cloud your senses,

lead you deeper into the garden where the glass-winged fae waits,

her laughter soft, yet so, so close.
