Author's Note - A Message Before You Begin
Hello, dear reader.
Before you step into the world of Search of Tempest, I wanted to take a moment to speak directly to you—not as the narrator, but as the creator behind the scenes.
Let me clarify something important right away:
Tyson is the main character of this story. His journey, his emotions, his growth—that’s the heart of Search of Tempest. But in the beginning chapters—specifically Chapters 1 to 5—the story is not told directly from his point of view.
Instead, those chapters focus on other key characters—especially Alex, a person whose past and actions are deeply tied to the events that are about to unfold. You’ll also meet legends, prodigies, and figures whose decisions shape the world Tyson is about to enter. These chapters are not filler. They’re the groundwork, the match being lit before the fire begins. They give you context. Think of it as a prologue split into multiple chapters.
That said, I know not everyone wants to wait. Some readers want to dive straight into the main character’s perspective and watch his world build around him. And I respect that. So here’s the choice I offer you:
If you’re someone who wants to fully understand the war, the history, and why Tyson’s presence is so important, I highly recommend starting from Chapter 1.
But if you prefer to jump directly into Tyson’s POV, his personal journey begins after Chapter 5.
Either way, I promise—everything ties together. Every thread connects. And the payoff, I hope, will be worth it.
Now, just a little about me.
This is my first time writing a full story like this. I’ve always admired characters who don’t just fight with strength, but with purpose. I wanted to write something that feels grounded yet powerful—where the quiet moments matter as much as the explosions. Where characters have flaws, secrets, and dreams. Search of Tempest is a story about legacy, pain, hope, and standing tall even when the world tries to bring you down.
This story is deeply personal to me. Like many of you, I’ve spent years watching anime and reading stories that sparked my imagination—worlds filled with emotion, action, betrayal, and hope. Those stories left a mark on me. And one day, I found myself thinking:
“What if I created something of my own?”
Something original. Something with my voice. My characters. My world.
That dream became Search of Tempest.
This story is a product of pure imagination and fictional, with no connection to real-life people or organizations. As the creator of this work, I ask that you respect its originality—if you come across this story under someone else’s name, please reach out and let me know. Your support means everything.
Whether you start from Chapter 1 or 5—I’m truly grateful you’re giving this story a chance. Let’s see where this journey takes us.
