Shore takes command of my interest
"Very well written and engaging. There are some minor punctuation errors here and there (e.g. a missing comma after dialogue) but nothing significant or distracting. It's more of a mystery story than action/adventure, although there is some action. I would recommend this to anyone who likes nautical fiction and elaborate mysteries."
I like the fact that you never know what to expect. I will recommend this book to anyone who’s a good reader and understands dialogue .

"Wow! I feel guilty reading this story without paying for it. The story line is intriguing, the dialogue is right on for that time period and the suspense keeps me wanting to read on. Obviously the three stories would become one but I believe you have a 'publishable' book in the making. Keep up the great writing!"
C.S. Forester and Agatha Cristie combined
"Very fascinating to read. Whoever likes to read old detective stories and/or historical fiction based on sound research of facts will love this trilogy. I will definitely also read the next two parts! The plot and the main character remind me a little of Horatio Hornblower (C.S. Forester), but with a bit less action, and with a lot more of dialog with the intellect of a Hercule Poirot (Agatha Cristie). The large amount of historical and geographical information about the American and Carribean parts of the British Empire reminds a little of James A. Michener. The English is very good but not everywhere easy to read: I learned many words I didn't know before! Just one remark: In the dialogs, most characters use almost the same 'complicated' highly intelligent vocabulary, though they have quite differing personal backgrounds."

"Well written, full of history, action, suspense and drama. This is one of the most enjoyable books that I have read in regard to its time and place in history. A credit to the author, who has detailed this read perfectly. I can't wait to read the next two books. A must to read."
