Prologue
Eliana Sinclair never believed in fairytales.
Not after what Armando Cruz did to her. On her eighteenth birthday, she took a risk, kissed the one boy she loved, and he humiliated her. He didn't just reject her; he shattered her confidence, leaving her broken. After that, she wanted nothing to do with him. But fate had other plans.
When she received her acceptance letter to the university, she had worked so hard to get into, Eliana regretted ever applying. The school was the same one Armando attended, the last place she wanted to be. Still, she went, secretly hoping she could prove to herself that she could move on.
