Summary

AJ Barnes likes to wear baggie t-shirts, chill, and play softball. Joining drama wasn't ever on the list. She has stage fright! After AJ is cast as Princess Aurora, she couldn't be any less thrilled. AJ Barnes is what you would call a tomboy. She is messy, hard to handle, and does pretty much what she wants. That is until she is forced to play the part of Aurora in Sleeping Beauty the Musical. AJ is about to discover the hardest task of her life. With pressure from school performance and softball practices, and being the president of the science club, how is AJ going to juggle adding in rehearsal's as well? To top it off, the director of the musical has required AJ to spend extra hours in private rehearsal with Prince Philip, played by Oliver Kay. AJ isn't exactly friendly, and she has no idea how to talk to guys. Plus, he seems like a total tool. What is AJ going to do with all that's now on her plate?

Mean Girls

I am the one they call ugly

5′7, 140lbs

With messy hair

And stains on my t-shirt

They ask, Why do you play?

Why can’t you act like a girl?

Playing softball is what

I look forward to every day.

As long as I have it

What I look like

doesn’t matter.

Obsidian: He's hilarious. Like, actually. I loved it. You're writing style is great, although you could do with a few less murmurs and mutters.
