Chapter 1.... 🔥🌊⛰️🌪️🌀

~CASSIE'S POV 🌀 ~

My name is Cassidy Fairchild...a normal teenage girl who lived a normal teenage life with her mother until one day.

My mother and I were always moving from city to city because of the nature of her job as she told me.

This was one of the reasons why I never really had friends. Whenever we moved to a new town, I always ended up losing communication with the few friends I made.

And now we've moved again, I'll once again become the new kid in school.

"Cassie baby.. will you be okay at school?" My Mom asked me a little worried about me.

"I'm fine mom. I just wish I didn't have to go to school." I said feeling tired of the day already.

"Honey, you know that won't be possible. Look, I know you're tired about how we move alot, but trust me Cassie, everything that's happening is what's best for you." my mom said and held me on my shoulders.

"What's best for me or what's best for you? Come on mom, let's not kid ourselves." I rolled my eyes and freed myself from her hold.

"Soon enough but I hope never, you'll see that everything I'm doing is for your own good." my mom said while folding her hands.

"Right. Whatever you say. Can you just take me to school now. I don't want to be late on my first day." I say and left for the car outside.

When we arrived at the new school....I got down from the car and waved my mom goodbye.

Being the new girl at school always had it's perks and downs as well.

"Hi... You must be Cassidy Fairchild, the new girl. I'm Veronica. Your guide through the school for the day." A brown haired girl said to me at the hallway.

"Oh hi... Thank you and it's just Cassie by the way." I said awkwardly.

"Oh Sure. Cassie. So do you have your timetable with you? Let me take you to your first class of the day." Veronica said.

"Yeah I do. Here it is." I gave the timetable to her.

"Let's see...oh you have biology as your first class today. Same as me. we could go together. If you want." she said and smiled.

She seemed like a nice person. But I wasn't quick to make any friends just yet.

"Sure." I replied and smiled back.

Veronica led the way as I followed her to our biology class.

When we got into the class, the one thing I dreaded about being the new kid in school happened. I was asked to introduce myself briefly. Which I did, in the most awkward way.

After the bio class, Veronica and I went to locate my second class which was English lit. Sadly she wasn't in this class with me this time.

I went into the class and sat at the further most back seat of the class. I didn't want unnecessary attention.

I was able to hide for a few minutes till the teacher noticed me.

She must have known I was a strange face.

I was once again forced to introduce myself in front of everyone.

After introducing myself, I made my way back to my seat but was suddenly tripped over by someone's leg.

I furiously looked over to the culprit.

"Ops sorry. You should watch where you're going new girl." a Pretty blonde haired girl said to me.

I wanted to scratch her fake lashes off her doe shaped eyes.

I knew girls like her all too well in my previous schools.

"Apology accepted. And You should learn to keep your legs to yourself old girl." I said calmly to her and continued to my seat.

I noticed some other people giving me glances. They must have heard what I said to the girl.

When the bell rang, I knew it was time for lunch time. I quickly put my book back inside my backpack.

"Hi... I'm Jamie. Welcome to the school." a boy said to me when I was about to leave.

"Oh. Hi. Thank you." I said to him not sure exactly what to say.

"So Cassidy. Your name is Cassidy right?" the boy asked me.

"Yes. Just Cassie." I said to him.

"So just Cassie, do you want to go grab lunch together?" he offered.

Thankfully Veronica came into view at the same time.

"Sorry. Maybe some other time. I have to go." I quickly moved away from him to meet up with Veronica who was waving in front of my class.

"Do me a favor Cassie, don't talk to that guy. He's bad news." Veronica said as soon as I came close to her.

I nodded and followed her to the cafeteria to eat lunch.
