Pokemon Tangled Red

Summary

WARNING: This is a bad Pokepasta parody created to entertain or cringe those who come across this shit. This story has terrible writing, stupid cliches, vulgar shit, really bad jokes, insults, some violence (I think) and lots and lots of cringe. This Pokepasta is a (bad) parody of those "Pokepastas" so bad that they seem like poorly written fanfics. This thing takes inspiration from Strangled Red and Pokemon Black Version (but not the official one)

The start

It was a day like any other, I was looking for Pokemon rom hacks because I was bored as shit. So as I was scrolling through the entire catalog of hacks, I found one that caught my eye.

Pokemon Tangled Red

"What is this? A Strangled Red blatant copy or something?" - I thought, so I decided to download it.

When I dowloaded it, I realized that it was a hack of Pokemon Yellow for the classic Gameboy, so I decided to patch it so I could play it on the emulator I have.

When I started playing, the game's intro was completely normal, with Jigglypuff fighting Gengar, a classic. But when I entered the title screen, I noticed something strange as hell.

The Pokemon that was supposed to be the protagonist's starter was different this time, it was like some kind of... Long-haired head? It didn't have a neck (if I remember correctly) and it didn't have a body either, it was a head that seemed to be holding on to its hair.

"What the hell is that thing??? Nah probably is a Pokemon I have never seen before lol" - I thought, as I pushed the "start" button.

At the beginning, I started by introducing myself, I named myself Mimi because that's my name, and I called my rival Blue because I'm no longer at that stage where I name my rival "Assfart" (aside from the fact that I love Blue a lot).

Starting in Pallet Town, I first spoke to the protagonist's mother, giving her classic line that would let you go off on adventures with plenty of dangers and certain deaths like the responsible mother she is!

Then I started investigating all over the town, seeing what kind of dialogues had changed, but nothing had changed. Since there was nothing else to see, I tried to leave the town only to be stopped by Professor Oak.

Then I entered a battle with a wild Pokemon as always happens in Pokemon Yellow, but something wasn't right... That same Pokemon (or whatever the hell that thing is) from the title screen WAS the wild Pokemon, and I saw Professor Oak capture it.

Professor Oak took me to his laboratory and there was my rival along with a pokeball om the table next to us. Obviously my asshole rival took the pokeball I was going to grab, but Professor Oak gave me the Pokemon he caught a moment ago.

I tried to go out, but my opponent stopped me for a battle. As the battle started, my opponent brought out Eevee while I brought out Tangle (the strange Pokemon or whatever it is). I quickly realized its attacks were "Pound" and "Strangle".

But I didn't give a shit about it and decided to use Strangle to see what would happen...

The screen went black for a second, and when it returned to normal, my opponent's Eevee was gone, with a message saying " Eevee was strangled to death!", so the battle was won. At the end of the battle, the opponent's dialogue was different, saying "Hey! Why the fuck did you do that?" But after that his dialogues were normal, saying that he will find better Pokemon and shit.

I still didn't give a shit about it and while leaving Professor Oak's lab, the thing came out of the pokeball, just like Pikachu always does. I decided to go to Viridian City to take the package to Professor Oak because he's a fucking lazy bum. After I got the Pokedex, I took the opportunity to check the description of that thing, what I saw made my eyes widen in shock.

(Ik terrible quality lol)

"What the hell?" - Is the only thing I could say right now as I looked at my Springtrap plush in shock like if he was an actual person and we were both looking at each other in shock.

Anyway I still didn't give a shit and decided to go to Oak's house to take the map from the most forgotten character ever in the whole damn franchise, Daisy Oak.

What I found strange were her dialogues, she said that my Pokemon was a little strange but also quite cute, so Tangle looked at her with eyes that... I better not say what they said. Anyway I took the map and went to Viridian City to buy some pokeballs and potions, something I always do when I play a new Pokemon game.

While hunting Pokemon (I'm not really interested in completing the Pokedex) I found a Pidgey, and I decided to catch it since it's a good Pokemon and will be very useful during my adventure. In Viridian Forest, I had a hard time getting through because Pidgey's Gust was a normal type in this game and Tangle was a bit weak.

Upon leaving, I decided to look for some Pokemon that would work for me at Brock's gym, and I found an Oddish (how convenient, right?). I trained it for quite a while until I finally went for the medal, so I went to the gym and... It wasn't hard enough in my opinion.

But after Brock gave me the medal, suddenly Tangle was the one on the battlefield and for some reason it seemed like I could keep fighting. But I didn't think anything of it and decided to see what would happen, so I chose Strangle and... The screen went black for a second again, and when it returned to normal, Brock was gone and there was a message saying "Brock was strangled to death!"

"What. The. HELL?!?!" - I saif aloud as I looked at the screen.

After that, I didn't give it any more thought and decided to go for my second medal...
