In the opulent halls of the Valerian Palace, adorned with crystal chandeliers and gilded mirrors, Princess Aurora prepared for her engagement to Prince Alexander of the neighboring kingdom. As I gazed out of my balcony, the sun dipped below the horizon, casting a golden hue over the kingdom. It was then that I spotted him—Luca Moretti, the enigmatic heir to the Moretti crime family. He stood at the edge of the palace grounds, his dark hair tousled by the evening breeze, his piercing blue eyes locked onto mine. Their worlds were galaxies apart, yet an invisible thread pulled us together, igniting a spark that neither could ignore.

My heart raced as I recalled their stolen glances and whispered conversations in the moonlit gardens. Their connection was electric, a forbidden dance that transcended the boundaries of their respective worlds. Yet, in that fleeting moment, all I could think of was the warmth of his touch and the thrill of their secret rendezvous.

As the clock struck the hour, signaling the commencement of the engagement ceremony, I felt a pang of despair. I was about to pledge my life to a man I barely knew, while my heart belonged to a man who lived in the shadows. The weight of my impending commitment pressed down on me, and I knew that the path ahead would be fraught with peril.

My eyes locked into hers...i couldn't stop thinking about her beauty and how soft she'll feel in my arms. But if i knew anything it'll be that i wouldn't let her marry this man...not in my wake, she belongs to me and me alone, i don't share. I knew i was being possessive and protective, but i couldn't help it. He doesn't deserve him. Although i knew that me and her were far apart, our hearts are connected but her parents won't understand, they won't let her marry me... I'll show them that she deserves me, me only.

I knew i had a mission to marry her, to claim her. But am afraid to hurt her, she's too precious to me, like a rare gem, she was shining in my thoughts all day, everyday. I had to convince her father, if not convince—force.

I swore if someone just lays a finger on her and going to cut their fingers off.

Aurora got ready for the engagement, putting on a simple yet elegant dress that complements her beauty perfectly. She couldn't shake Luca's image from her mind, the way he looked at her, his eyes were practically burning with desire yet vulnerability. She tried to shake it off to finish her makeup, she thought she's so pale with her alabaster skin tone so she added some blush just incase.
