Have you ever had that moment in your life where you feel like nothing else could go wrong?
Yeah, me too…
Today was my boyfriends birthday and I was already running late. The baker didn’t have the cake ready so I spent hours making one for him and had to get ready again and shower and whatnot. My family doesn’t approve of him but they normal don’t approve of anything I do.
I got in my car and booked it down the road. People may look at me and think that my life is so easy with the house and the fancy car and the expensive clothes. But i’m very normal.
I get outside his house and notice my bestfriend is already here. Anna and I have been friends since middle school. She was a little toxic at firdt talking abojt my weight my clothes until eventually she just stopped and we’ve been together ever since.
I stepped inside and stopped short as I heard giggling from the living room. It wasnt normal laughter it was like from a movie. I quietly stepped in more to find my bestfriend riding my boyfriend on the couch.
I didnt really know what to say or do. I just watched for a moment before clesring my throat. That earned me a look from Anna who smirked at me before shrieking and moving off of him quickly pulling on his shirt.
I just glared at both of them and when Ben tried to explain I just walked out of the house placing the cake on the table nearby. I walked to my car and got inside before driving off to Lucy’s house where I vented to her about everything.
I cried for a few minutes I really trusted Anna she was one of my bestfriends. But I had to move on I cant dwell on it I have bigger fish to fry.
“Lets go dancing tonight.” Lucy said noticing my silence
“My parents are expecting me home you know that girl” I responded smoothly, in reality I just didnt feel up for it.
“Your not backing out of this girl your going and thats final,” lucy said quicker then I could think properly
I reluctantly agreed and we headed to my place. I let her have one of my older dresses and began searching for my own. I found a loose fitting short black skirt and a tight white long off shoulder sleeve shirt. I paired it with some silver strapped heels and let my long brown hair fall down my back and was looking at myself in the mirror when lucy whistled.
“Damn girl you look good” lucy said
I smiled and brushed my clothes in a soothing manner “thank you”
