Chapter 1- part 1: Little bunny
Honestly, I just thought itβd be easy.
I used to see these police officers when I was a kid β fat guys lounging in their cars with donuts and coffee, shooting the breeze like life was simple. I figured, hey, why not me?
No big dream. No tragic past. I just wanted to protect people, maybe do some good... and live decently.
Thatβs how I ended up here. Twenty-two, Officer West, wearing this badge that still feels a little too shiny.
But right now? Iβm just a hungry guy in a crappy hotel.
The food at the Midas, the place Iβve been staying for a month, is overpriced and tastes like regret. I couldnβt take another bite of it.
So, I threw on some clean clothes and decided to try out that restaurant my coworkers keep going on about β Rasec. Supposed to be warm, homemade, "a hug in a plate," they said. Whatever that means.
Ashville was calm tonight. Just enough breeze to make me zip up my jacket. I wasnβt thinking about anything special.
Until I saw him.
Lying there. In a damn alley.
At first, I froze. I thought maybe... maybe it was another body. Another case. My heart jumped into full-on cop mode.
I stepped closer. Knees bent. Checked his pulse.
Alive. Breathing.
...Sleeping?
What the hell?
I looked around. No blood. No vomit. No broken bottle. Nothing.
He didnβt look homeless β not dirty, not bruised. His skin looked soft, even smooth under the dim light. Black curls, medium build, kind of athletic but not bulky. Younger than me, maybe.
I stared. I mean, who just sleeps like this in an alley?
Part of me wanted to walk away. My night off. First one in days.
But then thereβs that voice in my head β the justice one. What if heβs hurt? What if heβs freezing? What if heβs... I donβt know... someoneβs missing kid or somet
hing?
And just as I was debating whether or not to call it inβ
βLetβs go eat at Rasec.β
I blinked.
What?
I looked down again, and yeah β he was awake now. Eyes wide open, staring straight at me.
Black eyes. Cold. Deep. Not empty, but... something else. I couldnβt read them.
I swallowed. β...Sorry, what?β
He stood up without a word. No wobbling. No confusion. Just β like he belonged there.
βRasec,β he repeated. βThatβs where youβre headed, right?β
I just stared. βIs thisβ some weird joke?β
He didnβt answer.
Instead, he turned his head slightly... and shouted.
βThis man tried to kill me!β
My soul left my body.
I panicked. Covered his mouth fast. βWhat the hell is wrong with you?! Shut up, man!β
People glanced our way. I smiled awkwardly, waved them off. βHaha, heβs just drunk. Crazy night, huh?β
They walked faster.
He didnβt struggle. Didnβt flinch. He just looked at me with that same bored expression. Like this was normal for him.
I sighed. βOkay, fine. You want food? Weβll get food. Justβ stop yelling before I lose my badge over your crap.β
He stretched like a damn cat. Didnβt even say thank you.
And just like that, I was heading to dinner with a stranger who had just publicly accused me of murder.
...What the hell is my life.

Welcome, curious soul.
This is not a story of heroes in shining armor or villains twirling their mustaches. This is a story about people β some lost, some broken, some just trying to figure things out in a world that rarely makes sense.
"Intuition" follows Florian West, a young officer who never expected anything extraordinary from life β until one strange night changes everything.
In this tale, mystery hides in plain sight. Justice wears no clear face. And those who seem harmless might just be the most dangerous of all.
You'll laugh. You might feel uneasy. Youβll question who to trust.
But most of all, I hope you enjoy the ride β because in this world, nothing is random... not even the people you meet by chance.
Thank you for reading.
Now, let the story begin.
