Conforme se acercan a la verdad, algo inesperado florece entre ellos: un amor prohibido, tan peligroso como un oscuro secreto que encubre la "perfecta" ciudad. La prohibición no es por una ley, sino una promesa rota: la fidelidad eterna de él a un fantasma del pasado. Sin embargo, cuando el plazo del pacto se agote, su elección no será entre la vida y la muerte, sino decidiendo si el precio de recordar vale lo que ha encontrado en el olvido.
