Last believer
In a world where praying to the God of the Christians is an abomination, children are taught that Jesus was a myth — a story formed to manipulate the poor and the desperate. No more churches exist. The few believers left have lost faith. Why has the world become like this?
Yet one man still believes — Ellison, son of the last priest.
In his room, praying silently:
> “They say You are a fairy tale, a lie to give hope to the desperate. Then why do I still hear You in silence?”
(His wife on the bed.)
> “Honey, it's late come sleep” she whispers
He replies "don't wait me"
(And continues praying) “ Lord am I the only one left? Children are taught You were a myth. Why can’t Your name be praised again? Why must I hide to worship You? Your house… the last church was burned… there is no more place to worship…”
A few seconds later, he sees a mountain. And at the peak is a door. No walls — just a door. He climbs and opens the door… and when he opened, what he saw was—

The next day, in a transport bus, late for work:
> “Eli: I missed my staff bus. I’m late already. Director dick must be mad (angry) already…”
(2 people argue loudly.)
-The good one: We live in a society where Christianity has been banned! Yes! But remember in those good old days, peace reigned because everyone worshiped one God. Children did not disobey! But now they do! Why? Because they are taught that Jesus is a myth....
-The wicked one: You ask why? Because it's the truth! He remains a myth and a fucken fake story created to decieve fools like you...as far as u are a citizen of yurem u don't worship that Jesus !! What's hard to get there? If u can't get it then go on and worship then u would end up like the last priest who lost his head years ago (laughs as his wife near him calms him down he shuts her up)
-Eli: (Standing and listening to their debate) Urghhh...I think anyone is free to worship who he wants, how he wants and where he wants....being a citizen of yurem doesn't mean u are a prisoner deprived from faith.
The wicked man: It's clear u know nothing about the law....ur a foreigner I guess.
-Eli: Remember! What does "yurem" means? FREEDOM right? Then why are it's citizens deprived from their faiths and beliefs....only psychopaths gives such laws..
-The wicked man: You can say whatever u think about the law but ur god has been proven fake, everyone has opened his eyes to the truth...no one worships again
-Eli: When the time comes he shall be praised again, all knees shall bow and all tongue shall confess that he is real...
-The wicked man: (Gets angry and rushes to beat him) YOU ARE GETTING ME ON MY NERVES...GRRRR....
(his wife "mercy" holds him)
-Mercy: (Looking sick and weak) Sto...p, pls stop!!...
-Eli: (No change in expression) In my father's house there are many rooms....even on for u.
- The wicked man: Sfff....(spits on him)
Down the bus elisson hurries for work as a the young lady in the bus follows him:
-Mercy: Wait.....please wait!! (heavily breathing)
-Eli: ???
-Mercy: Your name...please what's ur name....
-Eli: Ellison....but they call me Eli after the prophet in the books...
-Mercy: Allow me follow u...
(she does not mean follow him where he is going to right now)
-Eli: Where am heading to, u can't go...what is to happen, u can't bare...
-Mercy: No matter what....even if it's death! Am ready!! By the way am to die anytime soon...
-Eli: (Looks at her with his dizzy eyes and turns to go) With what I saw yesterday night inside that door, the door on the mountain.....they were many inside, many are called but few are chosen.
In his work place and adult film industry, where he works as a Cameraman and photographer:
-Director dick: HEYY!! Ellison what the hell are u doing start filming the scene has started....
-Eli: Oh sorry! (then talks to himself while filming) This my occupation is it right? When would I have an answer from above...I keep on giving myself the same answer justifying myself saying " Am just filming the fornicators and not fornicating " am just framing the sin i don't live in it...
After the filming:
-Dir. dick: Good job guys....Well done Lisa! u got talent in ur waist (then whispers in her ears) "meet y'a at 7pm at our usual spot" As for u Ellison, ur getting weird (bizzare) be careful u might get sacked
-Eli: (cleaning his camera) understood director!!
-Lisa: (approaches Eli) Hii....u have filmed me before right? It's not my first time seeing u.
-Eli: Ah sorry I don't mark faces of the actresses i film
-Lisa: Oh I see...u don't mark faces but just profit from them after scene as the directors do (laughs)
- Eli: All I do is focus on my camera, listening carefully to the directors orders...am not here for the actresses.
-Lisa: (she laughs) your so weird (means strange) u are playing holy
Later that night, in an office:
-God-give: one spoke just because his against the law but the order spoke openly about the god of the Christians...saying he shall be praised again soon.
-Silas: (a charismatic man in his 50' on his chair wiping his sword) - And what does that has to do with me ?
-God-give: But chief......
-Silas: Shhhh.....quarter quarrels we have them everyday it doesn't concerns me now leave.
God-give leaves then meets a friend outside:
-His friend: An anonymous account is openly speaking about the god of the Christians online
God-give runs back to quarter chief "SILAS" office
-God-give: (showing his phone) he is the one...the man am talking about..the last Christian
-Silas: ???...didn't we burn the last church and killed the last priest years ago? Who still dares disturb my ears with Christianity...
Eli in his room sitting on his bed:
-Eli: An online group i just created i got one follower already...MERCY!!
-Grande: (His wife, holds him from behind) Babe what's disturbing u again...come let's play
-Eli: Sorry grande, am on fasting (she gets angry and lies down)
He thinks of the wicked man in the bus:

Tears gather in his eyes, memories of the past comes as flashes in his mind
// when he was 12 soldiers held him as he cried, the whole crowd came out watching the last priest being chained up and humiliated as Silas gives orders they raise the sword and....SWOOOSH!!//
-Eli: (open his eyes as his heartbeat faster) "FATHER!!!!"
(then kneels down)- They say u don't exist, that u are a myth created to give hope to the desperate, then why do I still hear u in silence? Why can't we praise u in mass like before......HOW DOES UR HOUSE LOOK LIKE, ARE THERE MANY ROOMS OR JUST A ROOM FOR ME!!
He sees a mountain and at the peak is a door, no walls just a door as a voice guides him to climb and open as he does, light flashes his eyes and he sees a thousand of people, a massive crowd all in white robes some singing, praying, praising but he doesn't get their voice, no noise and at the corners of this large world are many doors, many rooms.........
Somewhere in the city an evil being smiles
-Silas: I WOULD HANDLE HIM MYSELF......
