Chapter 1
Paisley (chapter 1)
The day began like a typical one.
Sage has been calling me non-stop since yesterday , she wants me to go out with her for our school football match.
“Hey!” Sage shouted from behind,
Turning back I said “hey girl”.
Sage was wearing this black hoodie which she had obsessed over for so long. “You gotta be kidding me!? Why are you going to the library instead of going to watch the match!!” She yelled factiously.
“I am not going there Sage!” I said knowing she would take me there at any cost, Sage has been obsessed with football for a while.
“Hey are you guys coming to see the match?” A voice came from behind and I recognised that annoying voice very well.
“Well I was trying to convince Paisley to come to see the football match today.” Sage said making her innocent face.“And well I am not going!” I said tuning back to see Nate standing behind me. Nate was my classmate and he lived in my building for almost three years. He is one of the guys in this school I would never want to look at.
“Good morning to you too!” Nate said teasingly. “Whatever now let me go I have a class”.
“You two will never stop fighting right?” Sage said as she walked with me in the hallway. “NEVERR” I said laughing. Nate and I have a been like fighting since we were four and it still goes on , he is the captain of our football team and been the most popular guy at the school. And if I talk about myself I just have been working really hard to get in UNY. I have always loved filming things and that’s the one thing I got from my dad , when he had been there with me he was always pushing me forward to do filming and now that he is not here anymore, I am doing it.
“Paisley!! There you are!!” Someone shouted from behind, “hey Jess!” Jessica has been my roommate for almost two years now, she is almost like a sister to me!. “The owner of our building is renovating some of the floors. And..he is renovating ours too.” She said hesitantly. “WHATTTT?!” .
“It’s just for 3 months and then we can live back in , I will be staying with my parents till then.” She said. “But wait my mom doesn’t live here!! Where will I go?!” I said very unsure of the situation. My mom has been living in Texas. She barely agreed to send me to study here in New York. When I was a kid my mom wanted me to study in Texas itself but after arguing and making my dad agree I came here now that he’s not here I-.
“You can stay with Nate! I talked to him!!” Jessica shouted. “Are you kidding me?!”. “Hey I know you hate him! But that’s the only option you got”. “No way!! Sage can I live with you?” I said looking at Sage. “I want you to!! But my Roommates might not agree”
“God no!! Fine I will stay with him!”. How will I?.
