What is your opinion?

This works for me.

"I have read the first five stories of this anthology, and I am thoroughly enjoying them. Like my favourite poem (The Rime Of The Ancient Mariner), the narrator tells them in the third person to a sometimes questioning audience, and it works really well. It is easy to see yourself as a part of that group of listeners enthralled by each word that falls from the narrator's lips, tales told with a vibrant descriptive style that draws you in ever deeper into places that perhaps you don't really want to go, but can't help yourself from plunging in. This is one set of tales that I will complete reading in its entirety; they evoke the feeling of how our long-lost ancestors would gather around campfires at night to be entertained, perhaps frightened by such tales. Those halcyon days when people, bereft of TV sets, game consoles, and social media, would interact instead with each other in shared experiences. I highly recommend these tales, but only if you genuinely want to enjoy stories that really are hard to put down."

Unique

"This was so different! I thought I wasn't going to enjoy the whole 'narrator within a story narrating another story' but it really worked. This is unlike anything I've ever read on this site before and I very much hope the author continues to explore this theme. The author has a story-telling gift!"
