To be granted the life of a dragon rider is something that anyone on the continent of Ascella would gladly give their lives for, but for those that live on the continent of Hastolar, it is considered a death sentence. Once every decade Queen Valara calls upon all of the dragon riders spread out across Hastolar for a select few to earn the chance to become a part of her Queen's guard. Gold. Glory. Death.
