Summary

That night, we sat down next to each other. A inch apart not looking at one another but into the fireplace. In the back of the room near one of the corners stood a bucket collecting water from the ceiling. By the inside being warm, the snow coming in didn't stand a chance. The droplets fell down in a way that it made him hum something to himself and stands up holding out his hand to me. I look up at him with confusion. "Afraid now princess? I just want to dance" he proclaims. Once I accepted his skin brush against mine leaving a trail of his touch and his hand finds my waist sliding up almost under my arm. "Follow my lead. Move your feet like this while allowing your hips to guide the dance. Get closer" he directs showing me as I slowly follow. I step out finding his foot instead of the floor trying again to do it right but failed. He laughs shaking his head then a grinning smile appears on his lips. I stop searching for his eyes as my expression kept its clueless yet shock expression. "What?..." I ask with my lips slightly raise as a sign of being puzzled. "You are really bad this. You not even using those big hips you posses and the fact you are now having two left feet" he explains looking at me. "Fine, I didn't even want to" I let go of his hand but he stops me "Come on, I'll teach you the rookie version" and with that he pulls me closer to help me feel the rhythm.

Prologue

The voices whisper among themselves; blood everywhere to a point where the soil is red. What have I done? They’re all dead.... If I run now, it would do no good. The earth must swallow me whole, it must or ... I don’t know what I’ll do for the pain.

“Bah-Bah little sheep. Close your eyes and don’t weep. Count to three until the screams are no more.” I tell myself repeatedly. In a world filled with greed, we eventually return to nature with the result of that greed inside our soul. We were too hungry. Emotions are dangerous. Look what they have done. Look around, all gone with their names spelled in their own blood. Lies have reached the surface...my lies but they held some truth, right? As the hands of the dead pull me in. Dirt under my nails. Arms crossed...and my crown covered in red. This is where I lay... with the beginning and end. The alpha and the omega. Who is, and who was, and who is to come.

The Almighty for his judgment is so.
