Cheating Games

I found out last night that my boyfriend was cheating on me with his female best friend. I’ve always felt like something was off with her.

Whenever she’s around us, she’s always acting weird or bitchy toward me. I told Chad about it, but he kept saying I was being insecure and that it was all in my head, so I started ignoring her.

I can’t believe that motherfucker tried to gaslight me into thinking I was crazy. I found out while I was using his MacBook just now. An iMessage came in from her.

This bitch was sending him pictures of herself in lingerie. I went through their entire chat after seeing the photo. It was filled with talks of their time together, fucking, and laughing at me for not seeing that they were right in my face doing it.

At first, I felt betrayed and cried for a few minutes, but then all I felt was anger.

“Chad really has me fucked up,” I hissed. “He’s been playing me in my face all this time.”

“How dare he fuck that bitch in my car?” I huffed, slamming my fist into the table.

I started pacing back and forth to prevent myself from going upstairs and slapping him awake. What can I do to hurt him?I pondered.

That’s when I realized that I’d been done with this relationship for a while because I was more upset about them playing me for a fool than the fact that he was actually fucking someone else. Since he wants to play games, I’ll show him how it’s done.

I pulled out my phone and searched for Samir‘s contact, that’s his older brother. They don’t really get along, and Chad told me to stay away from him.

I’ve always known it’s because of how Sam looks at me. Whenever he comes around, he has always looked at me like he wants to eat me up, so I’m going to give him the chance to do it.

I dialed the number. What am I going to say to him? What if he says no? A million thoughts raced through my head.

A piercing ring yanked me back to reality.

If he doesn’t pick up by the third ring, I’m hanging up, I decided, just as the line clicked.

“Hello,” he said, his voice low and husky. Had I woken him up?

I froze, not knowing what to say. My mind went blank.

After a moment, he spoke again. “Julz? Are you there?”

“Ahem.” I cleared my throat. “Hey, Sam.”

“You good, mama?” he said, with a hint of curiosity in his voice.

I never called him. I preferred texting. And I definitely never called at midnight.

“Yeah,” I said, stalling. “I’m good.”

I searched for the words to say, for a way to ask him without sounding weak.

“So, what’s up? Is everything okay?” he asked, questioning why I called.

You know what? I’m not a weak bitch. Let me just get this over with.

“Your brother crossed a line,” I said, “so I decided I would too.”

I heard shuffling on the other side.

“What do you mean?” he sounded fully awake now.

“I didn’t call you by accident,” I continued. “I know you’ve wanted me for a long time. I figured tonight, I’d let you know you can.” I lowered my voice, slow and breathy.

There was a pause on the line.

“You shouldn’t be calling me,” he said quietly.

I smiled. “Then who should I have called?”

Silence again. I didn’t know if he was rejecting me or giving in.

“Julz,” he finally said, my name rolling off his tongue, “you don’t know what you’re asking.”

“Oh, but I do,” I whispered, slightly chuckling. “I’ve thought about you being inside me for a while now.”

Another pause, longer this time.

“You’re hurt and angry,” he said. “That’s not a good reason to…..”

“Hurt?” I cut in. “Nope. I’m pissed, sure, but I’m not hurt. I was planning to end things soon anyway. This is just the icing on the cake.”

I continued. “Don’t pretend you haven’t imagined bending me over the counter.”

His breath hitched, just once. But I caught it.

“That’s not fair,” he said.

I smiled again. “Neither was what he did to me.”

The line went silent again.

“Where are you?” he asked.

My heart started pounding in my chest.

“I’m home.”

I heard keys shuffling on the other end.

“Are you alone?”

I chuckled mischievously. “Your brother is upstairs.” I paused, then said, “Come see me if you dare.”

He inhaled sharply, then went silent.

“This is a bad idea,” he murmured.

“Then hang up,” I said, hissing my teeth. I might have sounded agitated or bossy, but my heart was beating like crazy as I waited for him to respond.

“You asked for this,” he said finally. “Once I start, I won’t be stopping.”

“I don’t want you to,” I said, trying to control my excitement.

He let out a heavy sigh.

“I’ll be there in twenty minutes,” he said.

The call ended before I could respond. I stared at my phone, my heart was going crazy as I rushed upstairs to change.

Revenge has never felt so thrilling.
