I especially like how her determination to protect her brother pushes her into situations she never imagined. I’m curious, was Mia always meant to be brave beneath her awkward personality, or did her character evolve as you kept writing?"

"WHY is this story not on Galatea?!? With follow ups?!? The story telling by this author is exquisitely done with not only a range of emotions but visuals that draw the reader further in. The use of baseball/section characters as well as Yankee Stadium itself brought in a whole new dimension into the story that I’ve not seen before. It was a very pleasant surprise as this was a random selected Mafia book to read. Highly recommend to other readers, move to Galatea, and continuance of the story by author. Thank Emily for sharing your imagination with us. "
