"I like the story overall. I loved Caleb the most, though Mal held that spot for a while. I'm not sure what I think about the contrast between their childhood experiences and how they treat Bianca in their first few sexual encounters. It left me feeling that they're ALMOST on the same side of the coin as the people they kill - predatory. The way they execute their operations leaves a lot to be desired. I'd have wanted them to be ruthless and methodical. Three steps ahead before they've killed a victim. Professional and detached body handling. But the way they leave their murder scenes screams amateur to me. They leave too many loose ends to have a long-lasting impact in deterring paedophiles. I did love how they executed Miller, though; that was beautiful. "

Nina Ramseyer is a brilliant storyteller
"Butcher Boys Nina Ramseyer Read the trigger warnings at the beginning and take them to heart. This is a very dark romance. Not sure exactly what it says about me but I absolutely loved it. Take a walk on the dark side with Bianca and the Butcher Boys. If you love Dexter then this is right up your alley. Bianca is a nurse, who ends up at the wrong place, wrong time. We meet Malachi first. He takes possessiveness to another level. A lot of the reverse harem books I’ve read the men generally are accepting of each other and jealousy doesn’t really come into play much, but Malachi takes it down a different path. Ethan is the fearless leader. He’s calculating and hates Bianca for stepping into their world. Jace is our golden retriever, turned Rottweiler. He is our comic relief in the darkness. I loved reading his POV. It’s a bit of a fourth wall break several times, it gives the reader a sense of being apart of the story. Caleb. Our sweet, sweet, dark, angry Caleb. He is the silent sentinel of darkness watching and calculating everything. In their madness there is order and in their chaos of Bianca being thrust into their lives is where they discover they can both be loved and love. It’s a delicious masterpiece of plot, character, tropes, tragedy and finding the place that is safe and home. If you like your romance dark, then you’ve come to the right place. Nina Ramseyer is a brilliant storyteller. I cannot wait to discover her other works of fiction. "
