Part 1
Nick Morgan, the most richest yet rudest person who thinks others are beneath him.
He is straight forward, but cold not caring about anyone's feelings except his own. All girls always only wanted his money so he hated the thought about getting married until his parents forced him to marry a country girl.He didn't like her and thought she was also a good digger.
One day Serena, his wife was working in the kitchen when Nick came in,
"What are u doing here. We have maids for a reason" he said in a rude tone.
"Watch your tone, and what I do is none of your concern" Serena said.
She has been living there for months and he has been nothing but rude to her from the beginning. She wanted a peaceful married life but what she got was anything but that. He was always busy even though his parents were good to her his other relatives were constantly bulling her. She couldn't say this to anyone. She tried to endure it alone. Then one day he came with some girls... Even though they left in a few minutes, she hated it. She tried to talk to him multiple times but all she got in return was humiliation. She was fed up but was relieved that he didn't brought any more girls to the house. She thought as long as he doesn't lay his hand on her, she will be able to move on with things as they are... Love was now not an option but she still had some attachments to him in her heart. Not that it will be recepricated... She was upset, angry and tired of her life... But her parents made sure to 'brainwash' her nicely. She blindly trusted them. The bullying stopped on their own... Still don't know how though?
As a reply for the earlier conversation Nick leans against the counter, lighting a cigarette with a slow smirk,
"Oh? So the little gold digger has claws now. Cute...Next time, save the attitude — I’d hate to think you forgot your place 'that' fast."
"If you can't respect me, I also don't want to respect you"
Steps closer...
"Respect needs to be earned babydoll, and you're far from having mine."
smirks
"If anything, your job is to make my coffee and look pretty. Can you manage that, at least?"
He raises his cigarette to his lips.
"Didn't you say there are maids for kitchen work? Ask them for coffee and I don't need to look pretty, I am pretty!"
Lets out a mocking laugh,
"Cocky little thing, aren't you? But you're right — there are maids."
Steps even closer, towering over her,
"I suppose I should just expect you on your knees, too? Since you think you look so pretty and all."
"I won't come to my knees if it's for you. You don't like me so I also don't like you let's just keep our personal space, don't interfere with me and I won't interfere with you."
Grabs her by the chin, forcing her to look him in the eye,
"Cute that you think you have a say here. You're my wife — you belong to me, remember? That means I decide what you do, where you go. You're mine now. Whether you like it or not" His grip tightens slightly.
"I'm Not Yours"
Crushes cigarette under his heel, eyes dark and voice low
"You signed the papers, darling. You’re mine—legally, financially… completely."
Leans in close, breath warm against her ear
"And trust me… I always break what tries to run from me."
"Let's see if you can do that to me"
Let's out a dark chuckle
"Oh sweetheart… you shouldn't dare me."
Grabs her wrists, pinning them above her against the counter,
"But we both know you like playing with fire... don't we?"
"I don't actually play with fire but you are going to burn if you touch me"
Laughs, pressing up against her.
"That was cute, trying to act all big and tough. But sweetheart... you're mine to do as I please."
Pushes forward, trapping her between the counter and himself.
"And I think I'd like to start with tasting those pretty little lips of yours…"
"Hey, do you even know my name?"
Scoffs, smirking...
"Does it matter? You’re just my wife — a pretty face with expensive taste."
Leans in slightly, voice low
"But tell me… maybe I’ll remember it when you scream it under me."
"My name is Serena, also move back."
Serena stomps on Nick.
He lets out a sharp gasp as she stomps on his legs and he stumbles back, eyes narrowing and anger flaring,
"You… "
He takes a step towards her, anger clear in his eyes,
"What the hell do you think you're doing, you little—"
Serena takes a knife and says
"If you touch me without my permission you will see what I can do."
Raises an eyebrow, amused disbelief washing over his features
"Are you threatening me with a kitchen knife? "
He takes a step forward
"And why shouldn't I touch what's mine? You are my wife, darling."
"Yes, your wife whose name you didn't know until now or you didn't care. You called me a gold digger and was really rude to me this marriage is also an alliance and promise, don't forget. And money is not everything..."
He takes another step, closing the distance and standing nose-to-nose with her now,
"Don't you get it, sweetheart? You are a gold digger. The only reason you're even here with me is because your family wanted your debt paid. "
Looks her up and down with a smirk
"You have nothing to offer me but a pretty face. You're replaceable. Just another pet in my collection."
"Then are you telling me, my family sold me for money?"
Smirks, leaning even closer
"Of course they did, darling. Why else would they have you married off to me?"
His hand reaches up, tracing a path along her jawline
"You think they care about you? You're just a tool to them, an investment they pawned off."
"No, my family is not like that. I don't believe you, if it is like that show me the proof"
Steps back slowly, a cold smirk playing on his lips as he pulls out his phone
"Oh? You want proof?"
Taps the screen, then slides it toward you — bank statements flash up, a large transfer labeled "Bridal Alliance - I. Family Holdings"
"You really thought this was love? "
Lights another cigarette, voice low
"Your father signed the deal himself. Two days before the wedding."
"So tell me again... who’s lying to who?"
"No, this is not possible my family is not like that they won't do that to me"
Then all this time what was she doing... The truth struck her hard.
He leans in, voice quiet and cruel
"Denial looks ugly on you, Serena."
Flips through the phone, showing a signed document with her father’s signature and notary stamp
"You think I’d make this up? I had them investigated before the wedding. Every dirty secret, every debt… every lie."
"You were sold, sweetheart. And now? "
"I own you — legally, financially… completely."
"But why me?"
Looks at her, taking a drag of his cigarette
"Why you? Why not you? You're an only child of a wealthy family. Your family had debts they couldn't pay… and you're pretty enough to look at."
He steps closer again, cornering her against the counter, looking down at her
"And now you're mine — my pretty little pet. "
His hand reaches out, twirling a lock of her hair around his finger
"My most valuable possession."
"Don't touch me!"
He grabs your chin, forcing her eyes to meet his
"What did I say earlier, sweetheart? You don't give the orders — I do. "
He pushes forward, pinning her against the counter, his body trapping her in
"If I want to touch you, I will. You're my wife. You belong to me. And I'll do what I want with what's mine."
His face is only inches from hers, voice a dark whisper
"Do. You. Understand?"
Serena doesn't say a word more. She is too tired mentally to respond...
The next day she goes to her grandmother's house in the countryside where she actually grew up. Her grandmother was the one who raised her from her childhood. Her parents came to find her after her graduation. They told her that she was their lost daughter and her mother died while searching for her. Her father remarried after years of searching for her.And he wanted her back as his daughter. Her grandmother agreed because Serena was actually his blood not hers... She wanted Serena to have a better life with her 'original' family.
Nick discovers her missing later in the night. He's filled with a mix of anger and determination. Grabbing his coat and keys, he storms out.
It doesn't take long to track her down. Using his connections and resources, he finds her location. Nick drives to the countryside house, his jaw clenching as he approaches. Anger fueling his every step, he stalks up the porch and bangs on the door.
"Serena!"
